ok ok I know we totally played this fool out like a year ago on here, but I just saw him on a re run on MTV tonight. I competed in the same show as him years ago in NYC. I know he is a good natural BB but come on

I started to watch it tonight, but had to turn it off cause the guy was just a complete jackass.
Has he turned pro yet? What a dream to have. ROFL! How bout going to school and getting an education then getting a real job.
But hey atleast there was a little hot blonde with a nice ass in it.

HE JUST COMPETED IN THE 2005 WORLD STRONGEST MAN COMPETITION, IT WAS ON TV A COUPLE DAYS AGO, I SAW THE MTV PROGRAM WITH HIM TOO.

the powerlifting kid is Kevin Knee. he goes to school out here in AZ. i just saw him compete for a spot in the worlds strongest man on espn. he's the youngest guy to compete in the worlds strongest man. at the age of 20!

yea i saw that episode too, was he natural? I remember him being like 70lbs lighter than some other competitors and being nearly as strong.

i saw that dude on the worlds strongest man on espn for 2005 he didnt do as well as the other huge dudes but he was the youngest and lightest of them all at 260 strong dude though

I saw that MTV episode with him in it too. Strong dude. Loves his sport.
Eats like a horse. Big mofo for his age. They show him with his friends and he dwarfs them.
Saw a bit of training as well. Thats true functional strength.
He said he's still studying and bouncing at like 4 bars.
Weird thing was that his brother was a shrimp.

why do you think you would get your ass handed to you a WSM? you don't have to be a monster in the gym to do well in strongman, i think there's a misconception that you have to be a 650 bencher and 850 squatter and puller to do well, but guys like Phister, Marunde,Kirit are nowhere near that strong.

Most 20 y olds are kinda stringy actually (i'm around that age so i can tell). Maybe i was exaggerating a bit, but he was fairly bigger. I was just impressed by his size/strength. He was pretty wide and not fat, so that adds to the illusion.

Yeah man, i dont know much about it. But lifting a barbell and lifting a big rock and walking around it for 2 miles are kinda different.
Too bad that getting fat seems to be a good thing in the strenght/powerlifting circles

Whats goin on guys. I was reading through this thread and came accross Kevin Nees name. I want to clear the air about one thing, hes 270 now, training like hell. We just picked this cat up to help support our new company, www.bodyshoppenutrition. com. We believe Kevin will be huge and make the sport of Strongman and powerlifting huge. Check out our site, its still in the making but I realy enjoy this forum. Keep liftin!

I'm 212lb 5' 8" maybe 8%bf. That guy looks pretty good, even though maybe a little light at 6' 1" 228, but he's shredded. I give him props for being natural and not looking like dick, at a young age as well. He'd probably kill me in a contest with all my dirty tattoos ;D

Depends what your idea of fat is. If you're a bodybuilder, anything over 12% is considered fat.
I'll take the extra bodyfat if it means I can lift you out of my way.
Not much you can do about it anyway.
