SALEM, Mass. (AP) — A 14-year-old Massachusetts boy used an object to sexually assault his popular high school algebra teacher before killing and robbing her, according to an indictment issued Thursday.
Philip Chism has been held without bail since shortly after the Oct. 22 slaying of 24-year-old Colleen Ritzer, whose body was found behind Danvers High School after she never returned home from school.

The first part of your post is true. Stats can be misleading. But that doesn't mean that the stats 333 posted fall under that category.
Prove that those stats presented by the Daily News are misleading. Because I have head of these stats and NO ONE HAS proven them wrong.

You need to believe this because it allows you to rationalize the problem. Being poor doesn't mean a person makes bad decisions by default. No one is saying crime would cease but it would be down over 90% in New York. You can adjust for socioeconomic conditions because its done all the time for many different things You take two populations of similar socioeconomic status and compare them.

As much as you'd like it to be, it's not that simple. I know your well meaning but the problem is much deeper than money. Time and time again, Asian immigrants who speak no English and have nary a penny to their names are out performing the native population, including whites. When a major problem facing those at the poverty level is obesity, you know your dealing with an entirely different kind of poverty. And no, its not because the cost of bad food is cheaper. This is a myth and anyone with basic math skills can work this out.
There is a broken culture that exists in these communities that encourages irresponsibility and violence. Women are getting pregnant young and the baby-daddies are abandoning their children to be raised by the state. Parents aren't actively involved in the education of their children and being intelligent is viewed as a sign of weakness. Its not exclusively a black problem anymore, but they seem to be disproportionately effected by this kind of breakdown of culture and the family. Are they the canary in the coal mine?

What isn't being taught is the basic concept of cause and effect. Kids are growing up with zero future orientation. Its as simple as that the black community/culture in america glorifies lives of violent crimes, gangs, being uneducated, and encourages savage violence against whites, whim are blamed for almost all fhe bpack communities problems.
