….yet on his level its OK to drain out a pint of his own blood the day before the event then pump it back in the day of the event. I hope he makes his case.

The irony here is that I naturally have that extra high RBC and must donate blood to the Red Cross every six weeks. Should have taken up cycling. Nothing like high RBCs. At 73 with asthma and 48% lung capacity (smoked like a furnace unti age 40) I can hike miles without panting at 7,000' elevation.
