Title: Beta Alanine

Is this any good?

Doesn't have all that garbage that NOExplode and Assault have?

Makes me flush red but it passes quickly and doesn't seem to add in any way to pump or intensity. Not worth the $5, IMHO.

I believe there's been actual studies on it that shows some positive effects although I never feel any supplements really. I take it for the hell of it, but I get it from here. It has lasted me over a year. http://www.allstarhealth.com/f/bodystrong-beta-alanine_powder.htm

It works... but only on higher rep training

it reduced the burn. So a weight that you can normally squat for 10 reps.... You'd be able to get maybe 12-13 reps while on beta-alanine

just eat foods you dont normally eat and see what happens

thats pretty much all you can do

or you can take the gamble with drugs

Fact: from a biochemistry standpoint, it makes complete sense that BA will help you during energy bursts. I.e., will give you an extra rep or two.

If that is worth the money to you, then go for it.

It's not a scam; it's a completely legitimate supplement. Just not a very glamorous one.

Thank you guys! Very helpful, I think a few extra reps per set would be very helpful right now!!

Good stuff, far better than creatine.  Gets rid of the burn almost completely.  You'll be repping away and all of a sudden, without warning, BAM! your muscles fail.

Has purported health benefits, may reverse effects of glycosolation.

I like it, but taking the raw powder was too much to worry about.  Fuck supplements 8)

i'm not a fan of BA... makes my face burn and itch like hell.

I DO however, add 5-7g of citrulline malate to my preworkout drinks (usually a scoop and a half of original jack3d)..... add in 100mg dbol and some igf1DES, and you have a great workout worthy of pics every time. lol (provided you've had a 1/2gal of water during the day already).

But don't expect that it will add an inch to your arm ;)
