and where is this unspoken rule that back is more important than front for bodybuilding "criteria"?

Nasser looked better from the front. Unfortunatley he had zero back... also dorian had him on many mandatories.... obviously he loses the FDB but Doz still had enough mandatories to win.

Nasser looked better from the front. Unfortunatley he had zero back... also dorian had him on many mandatories.... obviously he loses the FDB but Doz still had enough mandatories to win.
i was expecting this. if thats true then his 2nd spot was totally undeserved, so no matter what angle you work on, the judges fucked it up, either way.

There was a video somewhere of Dorian explaining he won because he was still the best in enough of the mandatory poses. Nasser looks better in a few, but Dorian wins the others.
You know, being runner-up in any Mr Olympia is enough to make you an all-time great. He was number 2 in the entire world. Nasser isn't underrated or ignored or forgotten. He was one of the greats of the 1990s and it was not a weak decade by any measure.

I dont think anyone would argue that. Nasser had a back... it jist stopped half way down and had next to no condition.
dorian still looked killer in the side tri, ab thigh, most of the 1/4 turns, bdb, rls and fls... Nasser took the FDB and probably the front relaxed, side chest I cant remember but I seem to remember thinking Nasser. So

it shows that nasser wasnt a tier 2 pro like some trolls here try to portray him. dude beat the goat in many aspects, prime nasser is one of the best ever. levrone or flex never came close to beating dorian btw.

he was with some mullato girl which was built too.
this is another win over nasser i guess.

Gali, I have no dog in the fight. This is some old beauty pageant that took place in 97. I do slightly question though if a Mr Olympia should/could ever win with arms like that. Regardless of the rest of their 'package'.

He with the best back is the winner ..... name one major Mr O or Arnold classic winner that had a back that was not so so .... and not just one year looked bad but was consistent with a lacking back

ah me neither,its just entertainment, but if you ask me, all those olympias in those years, i would have placed the athletes not just slightly different, but the final placings would be randomly upside down etc.
those 2 dont even belong in the top 3.never should have.
just like cutler should always be tied in 16th,haha ;D

I guess he has upped the dose again..or a bit lol! Both bi's torn here? I know he tore a tricep too and even now his arms do not look good. That woman sounds like his wife.

Dorian made Nasser look like an asshole. That one photo means shit. Dorian was a legendary Mr Olympia. Nasser is just some dude that took 7th or 3rd or something.
