No but all you have to do is show up, tell them you think all cops are liars unless the defendant is a black guy then he is definitely guilty. You will be dismissed with a quickness hahaha. It's more funny if you are black and say this shit  ;D

eat like 25 egg whites for breakfast that day.

I'd be removed in about 5 minutes from that jury pool.

I show up and raise my hand when they ask questions. Defense attorneys always kick me out.

Well which one is it?  Do you want him to eat the egg whites or simply like the egg whites? The man can't do both.

They don't want people on the jury who have connections or experiences with the crime at hand.  For example if it is a drunk driving case they don't want alcoholics on the jury.

Since you don't know the nature of the case it's best to cover all the bases.  You've got an alcoholic father who abused your drug dealing mother because she always made too much noise after the noise ordinance time and he stole her car and did a hit and run on a minor who was raping a black person because Mexicans are inferior yadayadayada etc..

now blatantly lying can get you in trouble as well so invent a trashy family background but keep it realistic.

Unless you it comes certified mail, there's no proof that you actually received anything in the mail.

A jury is supposed to be a jury of your peers. However Nikola Tesla lived his life in the belief that he was above the humans that he interacted with. So in his case it would be impossible for him to sit on a jury because he didn't believe other people were his peers.

I did on a basis of running my own business and letting them know about potential profit loss (millions of dollars) for those few weeks. They never sent me a letter again.
Not sure how it works in US though but might be worth of try.

Yeah I just told them my employer doesn't pay me for jury duty leave and I couldn't afford to be without the income, so the guy just excused me. Pretty easy.

Take George Carlin's advice if you wanna get out of it: tell the judge you'll be an excellent juror because you can spot guilty people just like that.
