I want to get a feel for my lifestyle and see if there are any places i can cut down or if i'm a baller without knowing it.
I live in NYC.
Parking spot: $200/Mo
Cell: 200/Mo
Storage: 100/Mo
Cable: 60/Mo
Gas: 200/Mo
kids gymnastics: 300/Mo
I eat out 90% of the time so that's probably another 200/Mo. I'm not even including maintenance for my place or car stuff.
What are your getbiggers' expenses like?

Wait... You eat out "90% of the time" in NYC and that's only $200/month? The last time I had a meal in Manhattan, it was $200 per person for a single meal.

how are you eating out for 90% of your meals and only spending $200?

I ate at a Michelin Starred restaurant the other day. Including drinks it wasn't anywhere near 200/person. But you must be eating some fancy shit.
When i said cable i meant Internet. I don't have cable. Netflix+newsgroups.
I eat lunch at the same place everyday. 10-12 bucks for great bodybuilding food: rice/beans/steaks/fish/chicken.
Breakfast always at home since i'm not paying for six eggs at a Deli.

Lol!!! That is enough for me never to want to live in NYC.

That's for a single car garage. Anything in a building's lot will set you back 250-260. I got a good deal on that actually.
edit: Not Manhattan, obviously. Or at least not Midtown/westside or any of those super expensive places. I live in a decent area though.
Maintenance is 1K/Mo. Not including mortgage but that's crazy cheap.

You are talking to a Florida boy here. Parking spaces a free here. We don't live like stuffed rats.

Vince monthly expenses are 67 dollars monthly thats good so I guess you should be left over with at least 10 dollars net profit from all your different web ventues.

I was in Orlando in late-October and saw houses that would cost multiple seven figures in NYC suburbs w/ good school districts, going for $350K.
You are just paying for the name in NYC. It is the same thing in California.
Move to places like Florida, Nevada, or texas if you want bang for your buck.

When I had a condo (1000 square feet, two bedroom, 1.5 baths,) the maintenance was 238.00; the mortgage was 310.00; my home phone (yes I have one) is 35.00 (at&t); cell 39.00 for 350 minutes (sprint); summer electric 300.00; my car was 23,000.00 (car getting long in the tooth, so bus a couple times a week to save it 5.00); trip to Kroger twice a week cost 45.00 each time; gym membership 30.00 (used to be at the central YMCA at 60.00 a month, it was the best gym I ever was a member of.)
-

Tracfone Plan.....I have an Android Phone and generally use it for mostly phone calls however the town of Sylva is all WIFI enabled so I can surf the web on their line and use my Skype phone.....reason for the minimum cost.

10 bucks 3 times a day or per day?
-

It's a Co-op. ONe bedroom. About 700 square feet i think. It's crazy expensive here but it's the most diverse and exciting place to be whilst you can.
I've been to Florida many a time and it FUCKING SUCKS BALLS. If i could live out there with 20 of my boys i'd do it. But even my boys that went down there from here they're not sending me postcards about how they'd wish i were there.
It'd be nice to have a backyard but for that we go to a park. On the other hand anything you can want you can find in this here city. Anything.
And the argument that you spend less somewhere else...you also make less somewhere else. I love the weather and highways of Florida but aftr one week i'm ready to get out.
-
10 bucks 3 times a day or per day?
Per day. Sometimes i get the food to go so i get enough for two meals and that comes out to like 18$.
Also forgot car payments at 500/Mo.
-

No argument from me on that....there is a reason Bugs Bunny cut Florida away. I'm not in Florida.
I'm in Houston, or as the wags in the rest of the state would have it, New Angeles. (If you take the western most part of NYC, the eastern most part of Los Angeles and stretch each 1500 miles towards each other, where they meet, you get Houston.)
(edit)Florida highways hoovers up bat guano and serves it for desert.

I own my own business and my weekly bills and payroll are about $20,000 a week. I've own my business for 21 years now. Gym membership at 24 hour fitness here in Denver is $400 for two years, and that's what matters here.

Nobody needs food stamps if they budget their money. As far as my expenses are concerned, its not rocket science. I've been explaining everything I do to keep expenses down for years. I don't eat out much because like Adonis, I know how to cook quite well....I worked in restaurants for 4 years and took basic culinary classes in high school so I can do the broths and reductions and searing and all the other shit involved.....heck I'm going to make ghee tommorrow and cook up some Indian dishes with it.
Not only that, if you ever worked in a kitchen, you'll see exactly what's used to fix your 30 dollar meals and quite frankly, its with about 2.00 in ingredients at most....so why not do it at home

Vince has a great avatar and can cook. He quit the regular old job world and took upon himself to make it.
