What exactly, physiologically, causes GH abdominal distention?
-
I have heard different reasons for this.
1. Jim Quinn told me GH makes you hold water in the intestines, resulting in a blocky waist.
2. Others feel GH & insulin lead to the growth of the fat around the internal organs (not the fat under your skin that bodybuilders lose when they diet).
3. Others opine that GH & insulin cause the internal organs to actually grow.
Who knows for sure? I'd love to see a guy who had a GH gut later when he is slimmed down to normal. How doe shis waist look then?

common sense would tell you that "Growth Hormone" makes everything in the body grow, muscles, organs, connective tissue, bones, joints, etc.

Large amounts of food being pushed through the intestines couple with IGF-1 (which GH increases) and Insulin use. The Slin use can cause a large amount of core visceral fat to be stored, the IGF-1 attaches to the intestines (majority of receptor sites are located there) and just like any other muscle they grow.

Not in all cases, but sometimes, being bitten by a Brown recluse spider has that effect.
