LINDA A. (aka LYNDA) MESSINA
MONTCLAIR, NJ - Linda A. (aka Lynda) Messina passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Hackensack University Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, NJ, she grew up in Ewing Township, NJ and has resided in Montclair, NJ for the past 10 years. Lynda graduated from Ewing High School Class of 1978 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brandywine College. Lynda was currently employed by Tishman Speyer in New York City, NY as an Executive Assistant to Senior Management. Prior to her employment at Tishman Speyer, she worked for Merrill Lynch as an Executive Assistant for 22 years.
Lynda was an avid cat lover and one of the most knowledgeable New York Yankees fan. She loved being with her family and her girlfriends, the female Rat Pack. Lynda loved life and her family more than anything in the world. Lynda was an accomplished body builder training at Man's World Gym, Trenton, NJ and winning the titles of Miss Trenton, Miss New Jersey, Miss East Coast, and Miss USA. Lynda is predeceased by her parents, Gaetano V. and Dolores Francis-Messina and her maternal grandmother, Stephanie Goliszewski-Francis. Lynda is survived by her brothers, Thomas Messina of Lawrence, NJ; Larry Messina of Ewing, NJ; Anthony F. and wife Kimberly Messina of Ewing, NJ; and Edward Messina of Ewing, NJ.
She is also survived by her one and only very special niece, Rachel Anne Messina, who was the apple of Aunt Lynda's eye and the most precious joy of her life. She is also survived by her uncle, Edward Francis, Jr.; and cousins, Edward Francis, III and wife Terri; and Peggy Mulryne and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. Calling hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2013 and from 8:30 am to 9:30 am on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Hartmann Memorial Home, 2830 Nottingham Way, Mercercville, NJ 08619. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ. Cremation will be private. The 3 thing has always been retarded. A 4th occurs, and it's conveniently overlooked, or the 3rd, as is the case here, is someone unknown or unrelated and simply shoehorned in. Bullshit.
