I hated that about Germany. I think all Europe in general. Not only do restaurants there expect you want carbonated water, but they also charge you for it even if you want still water!
I remember I went to some Chinese buffet is Koln and asked for still water, they brought out a bottle of water which tasted like it was carbonated at some point and just went flat.

This is the most horrifying picture i have ever seen! I have seen people get decapitated and torn apart in car accidents and I have never seen anything this horrible. Why? There are things that cannot be unseen.
