Does anyone know what these are? A new cardio program I found calls for them. The workout calls for using a 5-10 lb medicine ball and doing high reps with exercises like Overhead Squats, Clean-and-Presses, etc.
But the last exercise is "Mountain Climbers"??? I've never heard of it and can't find anything about it online? Please help if you know what the hell they are! Thanks.

Not sure how you would use a med ball for this, but this is what I know as mountain climbers.

Those hills turn into mountains the older we get :P

We do those in wrestling when we condition some times and they can suck!

Mountain Climbers were a punishment in football practice for screwing up.

We use to do them for linemen drill's, even in high school and up to college. We called them by their unoffical name, "BS". Great for abs and just about everything else. Good quickness & speed training/drills also. Hill climbs, climbs, etc, known them by a lot of names. Good Luck.

We did them as punishment in basic training. They were called mountain climbers there. Get into a front leaning rest position as the animated gif shows and place one foot under chest while you place the other to the rear and alternate them. Another good burner along these lines is the squat thrust. Squat down place your hands on the ground and kick both legs back to form the front leaning rest position then kick them back up and stand. One.
