Title: how come double handed preacher machine curls are much harder than single hand?
Post by: anabolichalo on December 14, 2013, 08:46:16 AM
we have this curl machine at the gym
(http://www.pplfitness.com/pplfitness_com/bank/pageimages/hoist_rpl_arm_curl.jpg)

when i load 50 kg each side i can do sets of 10 each arm at a time

if i then want to do a set with two arms the same time, it's like 4 reps max

wtf

the better question is why are you using a preacher curl machine when all the free weights are available?

because machines have the advantage of resistance thru the entire range of motion

free weight resistance is gone once past sticking point
