LOL... I'm officially one of them. My little guy is so sweet and cute. just looking at him makes me crack a smile from ear to ear 8). He wakes up smiling everyday, goes to bed happy as a lil' teddy bear, kissing daddy then latching on mommy's (that used to be my move 8))
I don't think showing off kid pics is a bragging thing, I think it's human nature to want to spread joy to others. What is comedy after all? Spreading laughter therefore happiness to others.

It's nice seeing someone else in that new daddy stage too. My baby girl just turned a month old yesterday and staring at her and cuddling never seem to get old.
When I'm at work my wife always sends me update pics just like how musclecenter always updates his pics. She sleeps in the front double biceps position too. Gotta show her the front double thumbs some day, but she's usually busy sleeping or suckling mommy's teets. ;D

Yea sorry to hear Ted, we're still in the "far west" era of the internet and people have no respect and hide behind keyboards. I think this anonymity will end in the next five years or so through regulation and/or technology.

Yes, but we don't play as often as we used to. He won a club championship when he was 13 for his age group. Has hardly played in the last couple of years :(
Mostly plays baseball, is on the schools surf team and trains.

My kids are the only photos I take these days... I am not much on photos in general. I will take an occasional one with family or friends, but other than that, I know what I look like.
Kids make every photo look much cuter somehow.

Same here. Our phones all upload pics to Dropbox immediately, and whenever the DSLR's memory card is plugged into the computer it also syncs with Dropbox. You'll never regret taking millions of pics. Even just a month later my girl's already changing quite a bit. These will be invaluable when she's older and we look back at them.

At the end of the day, I hope people stop taking this shit so seriously and go enjoy time with their families. I joke around on here too and even make the occasional death threat, but none of it's all too serious.
It's concerning how bent out of shape people can get over internet bullshit. A lot of fellas around here need to take chill pills. All the phone calls and real life death threats are insane.

Everyone with a infant or kids should buy a dslr with a good 50mm 1.4 lens or 35mm. The quality on the pics even on the cheapest dslrs are so good now and its cheap to order high quality prints. My apartment is filled with huge pictures with frames of my kid and dog.

I remember those early days fondly, unfortunatley they really do fly over and your left wondering where they went.
Have a daughter 4 and son 6. They gave my life a direction and meaning. Not to mention christmas is nearly here, the greatest day of the year for those of us with kids.

In the fall we were at the my sister in-laws and she had a couple of eight pound weights on the floor. My, at the time, twenty month year old child picked them both up off the floor, one in each hand and walked across the living room with little effort. I was proud of my girl. She's going to be tall. At her last check up a couple of months ago she was over three and a half feet tall. I don't want to pressure her but it would be great if she played sports.

I am usually happy for any of my friends and family who just had a kid, however I do remove them from my facebook news feed wall asap as the 3000 new pics of their kid every week does get old quick.
facebook and new parents is the equivalent of the co worker new dad cornering you in the office to show the latest 3000 pictures they took of their little shit machine that week.
trust me most people are being sincere with the facebook comments about your kid the first few weeks, after that they have you off their wall or are just being polite while secretly hoping you will stop soon with the spamming
I wish more new parents would understand how fucking annoying they are after their kid was born, we don't need a minute by minute pictorial update a week or 2 after the birth

My daughter's gonna be 4 next month.....she's been an absolute blessing. Except last night when I literally wanted to drop kick her down the block, but otherwise an absolute blessing!!

I pop a tricep, ball up a bicep, bounce a pec while my daughter bats those endless eyelashes and says, "Hi! What's your name?" to every man and woman. The ladies LOL.........dang.....if I were a single Dad it would be cake. Forget clubbing, bars, online dating, church socials, etc......me, my daughter and the grocery store.....all day LOL.
My wife returns, laughs in my face and levels sets me quickly, "Get real hun, they think she's cute.....you can put the safety back on the guns."
