While at work, I need something that is quickly eaten that will keep me going throughout the day. Granola Bar? Cereal Bar?
Any and all suggestions appreciated!

Yes Peanuts but chews any nuts up really good. Wholesale protien bars/drinks. Cottage Cheese, Peanut Butter, etc.

OK...I just made up a batch of recovery bars from a recipe in Muscle and Fitness. I already planned on taking a jar of peanuts with me to work tomorrow! ;)

Sure but in minimal amounts. Anything labeled "recovery bars" should have at least some oats in there.

i know this is so bad but a quick snack i like is a pint of milk and a king size snickers.
not bb food but so. 85g carbs, 27g protein, 750cals

Kashi makes these great granola bars that i've been eating lately, 5 g fat (0.5 sat), 20 g carb, 5 g fiber, 8 g protein. I usually eat them with a shake for a snack, or a chicken breast and spinach salad for a meal. Actually, though, i've been eating them b/c i like the taste; the healthiness is just a perk.

I like balance bars as a quick snack....they have 15 grams of protein (not that great, but not bad), somewhere around 20 something grams of carbs and six grams of fat. They are great on the run and best of all taste good, at least the fruit on and the chocolate carmel. You should be able to find them at any large grocery store....
