A little worried about using the camera in the gym. They're pretty strict.
But yeah, I'll do it once I find a place. But despite my sad bench numbers (nowhere near 300 yet) and scrawny arms, I can do pullups, I've always been pretty good at those.
So gimme a day or 3 to find something to hang from. If I drive past an empty playground, I'll definitely lean up the iphone and record myself doing them. I don't see this as any major huge feat of strength. No making fun of the "thinning" spot in the hair, although I do keep it trimmed pretty close these days ;D

I've always kind of sucked at pullups - even when I was at my strongest. I'm wondering just doing them 4 times a week would solve it.

A chin is legit if the bar clears your chin, and no pause required at the bottom or top.

It was causing to much of a shake up with some other posters in terms of the criteria of the challenge. The board cannot afford a seismic rift at the moment, so 240 and I are now collaborating to get his bench to 300. The pullups will have to wait.

I video'd myself doing 10.5 reps with a little swing. I had been running sprints so I was gassed when I started. I'll have to upload it this weekend. I'll swing by the playground again next week and do it again with fresh lungs. I was a little heavier than I remember :)

I'll do it again this week. I think without the sprinting, my ATP levels would have allowed for reps 10.5 thru 12.

It's florida, so it was 82 degrees and light rain at the time. I was coming back from a grocery store at saw the park and stopped. Ran some sprints, then did 10 and 1/2 pullups for the video. I've been preparing for a tough mudder... lots of running. I'm 5'10 or 5'11... probably 188 or so there. I'm down a little in weight since then. Lots of cardio, jacobs ladder, ,long term running.
