Title: Is Judaism a race or just a religion

I got in to it today with a Jewish girl about her Jewish feature ie hair, nose and ass genetics from being Jewish.. She literally laughed at me and claimed she is not from Israel there for it's not her race. I explain that you can be Jewish but not of a Jewish blood line. Is it both a religion and race or was I talking out of my ass?

race: descendents of the tribe of judah

religion: follower of judaism.  given that judaism privileges the race of jews above all others, it's rare to for a follower not also to be an "ethnic jew"

Modern studies show that many of todays Jews are not of mid east descent.  They were European converts.

Most jews "ashkenazi jews" are not from Israel anyway.

They are ethnic Khazars.

Judaism is a religion.  Being Jewish is a ethnicity not a race.

The only true races are caucasian, asian, and blacks.  The rest are ethnic groups made by combinations of these three.
