PRECISELY. Me and my best friend got into punk and metal right around the time I got faaaaaaaaat, and I had a lot of fucking hair, so if it wasn't in a bun, it was teased and enormous and ridiculous.
Even after most of the weight came off and I was just "curvy," I still had huge hair, and people were constantly like "your wig is awesome." Fuck you, I just tease my hair like I'm in the goddamn Supremes.

I'm more into Motorhead, Danzig (read: Misfits, Samhain, every single other incarnation of that band), Black Flag, and Minor Threat. Costello for good measure, though that is neither punk nor metal. I file that away under "babymaking music."
