Watched the replay of Mayweater/Alvarez last night.....the Garcia Mathyysee (sp) fight was far better action wise but Floyd put on a boxing clinic.

Best Cuban boxer of all time that anyone ever heard of anyway, was Teoflio Stevenson.....best current Cuban pro.........Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Geezus!

Hurtado was undefeated  ,he  was winning the fight on points  but yeah  Mercante should have stopped that fight 3 or 4 punches earlier.

For sure.....insane to let a guy take that kind of punishment when he was far from being able to fire back.  ???

Yeah Stevenson was awesome, dominated the Olympics. He was never allowed to reach- show his potential. There was always talk of a Stevenson- Ali dream fight. I think Ali had too many weapons, but would have been an entertaining fight none the less. Didn't Stevenson put away Greg Page in a bout- ?

I would have put my money on Ali,but who knows?

As far as him fighting Stevenson goes,I had to look it up on Wiki............he never fought Stevenson, but he............"Defeated Igor Vysotsky, the man who twice beat Cuban legend Teofilo Stevenson."

FMW is full of shit.  Now, he is saying he's only an 140 lber.

Lara and Bradley are pretty much the #1 contenders at 147 and 154.  Now, he can't fight a true 147.

He's top 10 all-time but damn sure not the best ever even if he finishes with his precious 50-0 record.  He was great below 143, but he's a ducking clown above the weight.

BTW, he will pick Khan for May because he can't train for religious reasons during the months of July and August.  Maidana will fight a can to make sure he doesn't absorb a lost, so he can get his lotto check in September.

He can beat Manny but he'll have to work hard for the SD which he doesn't want to do.

BTWx2, he is slowing down.  Cotto (more body puncher than boxer but better than the Mexican sluggers) proved that, so FMW blamed his performance on Roger.  A mature boxer will give him hell, and I'm not talking an up and comer like Thurman or Danny Garcia.

WOW!!

He took a lot of hard shots.

the only fight that I ever saw where a boxer dies later on from inujuries was the Ray Mancini Duk Koo Kim fight........broken brain stem.

The fucking 147`s and 154`s are fucking stacked right now.............all top guys in the class could be dangerous on any given day.

I`m keeping my eye on Thurman....he has tons of potential to go real far IMO.

It's true , he is a small guy .

He's 5'8" with a 72" reach which is better than his last several opponents.  147 has a couple of guys in the 5'6" range like Berto.  Then, who the fuck is he suppose to fight?  It's amazing that 147 and 154 are being populated by movers and shakers as of late instead of the traditional in the pocket sluggers he loves, so now, he is too small to fight those guys. I'm assuming he will finish up with 140s coming up or an 147 slugger he knows Mexicans (these bitches act like Maidana won the fight for Latin America and them.  I only saw a parade in Argentina.) will buy the PPV.
