Texas longhorns? USC? Ohio state? Michigan state? West Virginia?
-
Michigan University.
-
Why Michigan bro?

Why Michigan bro?
Offensive Line.
-
Longhorns for sure , they needed to rebuild since 2010 and have failed to do even with recruits in the top five in the nation. As a fan the last few years have been rough to watch.
-
Why is Ohio state on this list? I'd say add Virginia Tech, Beamers day has passed.
-
Michigan has to do SOMETHING, they have been living off their rep for the last 10 years or so, one of the PREMIER programs in college football still, they need that right "piece' whatever it is to get back to the top.
-
Florida Gulf Coast University. Once they get a team.
-
Funding seems to be a problemo these days. The guys at University of So. Cal seem to have all the $$ though.
-
Considering both Ohio State and Michigan State are playing in BCS bowl games, I think they'll be fine.
Michigan and Texas are a little lost for sure. Throw in teams like Penn State, Nebraska, Arkansas, Miami, Virginia Tech, Cal, and Colorado for good measure.

Any getbigerr from Virginia Tech?

I thought when Garret Gilbert came in to sub Colt McCoy a few years back during the national championship the program would be solid for the next 3 years but looking back it's all been downhill since then.

They have started being more stringent with the drug testing too it seems

Unable to compete with teams from the SEC who are all bigger, blacker, and faster. They pay their coaches, assistants, and strength coaches LOTS more than what the other conferences pay theirs. A team like Michigan will NEVER win a championship while they continue to draw their recruits from the talentless shitholes of Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois. If you can't get the bulk of your recruits from the Southeast and Texas, you will not be able to compete.
The southeast regions and Texas LOVES their college football whereas places like the northeast and pacific regions gravitate more towards the NFL. Plus, playing against weak opponents in the Big 10 or ACC all the time doesn't prepare you for high level competition against the SEC and a few select non-SEC teams in bowl games.

Over signing and non guaranteed scholarships. If a kid doesnt live up to to his recruiting hype in the Big Ten he eats up the scholie for four years. In the SEC if a kid doesnt work out they either give him a " medical scholorship" or just cut him all together and fill the spot in the next recruiting year, guaranteeing a full class every year. SEC would have to abide by the same rules that the Big Ten sets for itself for the gap to close. Even then, the SEC would still be better. Ohio is the only team in the BIG that has even been rumored to pay players. But with the slaps on the wrist that the NCAA has been handing out, it pays to cheat. So schools like Auburn will always have a shot if the money keeps rolling in from booster to player.
