Title: I think Fabricio Werdum is in trouble
Post by: Royalty on January 02, 2014, 12:54:47 PM
He is ranked #3 in the world. Why is this guy so highly rated? He has already been released by the UFC once. Now people are thinking that he can challenge Cain? Just because Werdum beat a regressing Nog, doesnt mean that he can challenge Cain.

Werdum has to face guys like Travis Browne & Junior Dos Santos in order to face Cain Velasquez. He will lose to all 3. (Dos Santos already crushed him badly back in 2010).

I feel that the current versions of Hunt & Bigfoot will beat him.

I think that Barnett, Overeem, Mir, and Cormier would all beat Werdum too (Overeem already did so in 2011).

If Overeem gets by Mir, I'd love to see Overeem KO Werdum. Or Maybe it will be Travis Browne's elbows that will put an end to his run.

he's not entertaining.

fans want to see a fight, not Werdum try to pull guard and lay on his back for 15mins while the other guy stands there and says "stand the fuck up and fight, bitch".

nobody wants to pay money to see that.

Werdum should stick to ADCC if all he wants to do is lay on his back.

He's a dangerous fight for anyone.

And he's got more quality wins than Velasquez.

I think Cain would pause at a takedown attempt against Travis Browne, so who's striking is better Browne/the mexican?

Werdum is not explosive. Too slow. Too akward.

When Cain's, Junior's or Travis' hands start flying, Werdum will be flying to the mat.

Overeem without or low on PED's is shit

I'd rather see Mir or Barnett against Werdum in a SW match

This is true, he's not athletic at all but he's smart enough to know where hes good and where hes not. Cain needs to beat him with his pace and rhythm.

honestly would love to see rematch with jds.....at the time jds was new and werdum was out of shape and didnt take him serious. striking has gotten better and ground game still the best. barnett/mir/overeem also good match ups for him. dont think he will pull that boring shit again...

Absolutely. Werdum gets canned, Cain gets a rematch.

Weirdos frequently get canned from their jobs for doing cocaine and don`t get a second chance.  Hope this helps.

And the other one who gets caught doing cocaine keeps his job because he is a more likeable person??
