Was doing 10 8 6 for a while but pretty much hit a plateau and was thinkin bout tryin 5x5 any input and im maxing 225 at the moment kinda sucks but getting better what should i do for sets?
-
I've been wondering that myself. I usually do 15, 12 and about 10 if I can get that many reps. But I add weight each time, If you're doing the 5 sets of 5 do you still add weight every set?

5X5's have been a cornerstone for lifting & BB'ing for years. Good to get back to the basic's from time to time for a change of pace and to continue progress. Good Luck.

i do 5x5 on dips, bench chins and squat. sometimes even t bar rows.
i usually keep same weight throughout. e.g bench 5x5 with 235lbs. when those 5 sets are easy enough add another 5 lb to the bar.
after that i just do a set of about 190lb see how man i can do. try and beat it every day
