Itd be funny if the INS was waiting to deport them when rhey arrived.
oh, wait, that would only work in a country where they gave a shit about protecting citizenship and enforcing immigration laws. But thats not profitable, so to hell with that idea. Bring kn the cheap migrant labor, to hell with the law!

It baffles me that we're the only developed nation that doesn't have strict immigration laws and draconian laws of just because you were born here makes you an automatic citizen.

Consider this:
We live in a country where every citizen must prove that they have health insurance ... yet not every citizen has to prove they are citizens. Many of those who aren't require to prove citizenship, will have their health care paid by those who must prove that they purchased insurance. Legal citizens who fail to comply, will be charged a fine. For those who are not citizens, nothing.
Just sayin.

Do you know how easy it is to come back after being deported? As easy as catching a greyhound bus.
Whatever happens, the US deserved it...
I think the thinking is, eventually making these folks citizens, which means votes, but also means that they would pay taxes. But the politicians don't realize that folks who don't or won't follow the laws when they are not citizens, will continue the same course of action as citizens.
And I bet there are plenty of laws that US citizens don't want to follow...
They (politicians) keep it up, and they will see it all blow up in their face.

When an illegal becomes legal/documented they no longer become as attractive to businesses thus requiring the importation of more illegals. Reagan's amnesty program in the 80's didn't change a damn thing.

We're not the only one...just another of the Western developed nations that built the world and are now committing economic and cultural suicide.
