You know, I honestly don't know. It's been down for over a week and you get a "Not Found" message when you try to log in which seems to me to imply that the server no longer exist. I'm no longer in the inner circle and was relieved of my powerful Mod position so I'm no longer privy to the inside scoop. I just remember gh15 saying something about a "war" going on behind the scenes. It would be quite ironic if somebody actually hacked and brought the board down considering that's what gh15 has been wanting to do to Promuscle and GetBig.

Who said I've denounced my elfship? And HRT is widely prescribed nowadays. It was an endocrinologist that recommended it to me. And I think he knows more about hormones than you do.

Simply not true. It has already been proven with scientific studies that you need testosterone to build muscles. And the more you have the more muscle you can build. That's why men naturally have bigger muscles and are stronger than women. And why you start to lose muscle as you get older. And why bodybuilders are able to build such huge amount of muscle no matter how they train. When you get old hormone production, and consequently, quality of life goes down. I feel much better having my test levels on the high side. My last blood test (taken in November) had me at 792 ng/dl (reference range 250-1100) but more importantly, and more satisfying, was my free test was at 339.6 pg/ml (reference range 35.0-155). This means that I am able to utilize more testosterone than the normal person as most of a person's Test is bound by SHGB which increases as you get older. And it's the free Test and not total Test that counts.
As far as protein, I am eating less than I ever had since I was a teenager. My activity level has dropped considerably and I've gone from 5-6 meals a day to two full meals and a snack (like a couple of Balance Bars) per day. I probably get maybe 120 grams at most per day. A far cry from the 300 grams per day I use to force myself to consume. But I do agree with you now that most people eat far more protein than necessary and it does have an impact on health. At least on your kidneys. My GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate) is border line and I have never taken oral medication for any length of time (maybe 3-5 days of Advil every few months at the most) and haven't taken any oral anabolics for decades. Even then it was 25 mg of dbol or 50 mg of drol for six weeks at a time maybe two-three times a year. I've never used rec drugs and have never been drunk or high in my life. So the only stress I would have on my kidneys is the protein. And were talking decades of 250 grams + of protein per day. Too much and not healthy -- and not necessary. And I regret it.

What's beyond hilarious is the very idea of people "leaving" boards or "coming back" and others even caring. I haven't posted on PM for over a year. Did I leave that board and betray them. Benchmstr stop posting here for a few years and went to AnabolicBoard. I know because he told me. Now he's back. Benedict Arnold? I never left this board. I still posted occasionally like I do on OutLaw and Sherdog. I never gave the "It's been fun guys but..." like so many others do which is a sure sign they'll be back. I stopped posting on EliteFitness for almost a decade now. Didn't formerly leave, just started posting more on other boards and forgot about it. The idea that someone would get angry or feel betrayed that I don't post anymore or not as much on any board is indeed beyond hilarious.
This internet stuff. It's too funny. I think this is where I now challenge everyone to come to Hawaii to fight me.

Yes. A real serious (and strict) bbing board. It's not exactly a fun balonie around board. I once commented in the Mod section that the mood has changed on the board. People are often afraid to express themselves. The ban stick is always hovering over their heads. I quoted one of the PMs that I received that a member feels he is always walking on thin ice (or maybe it was egg shells). gh15 responded that's how they should feel. That being on his board is a privilege and they should always be aware of that . They should feel they are walking on thin ice.
I got it. It's his board and he can have it anyway he wants and he encourages people to leave if they don't like it. And many have left and have been forced out. There is no board on the net that bans people so frequently. I myself have been temp banned twice. And I was a fucking MOD! But I stay and I still like that board and what it is trying to achieve, it's "mission" and hope it comes back up. There are so many good knowledgeable posters there that I always want to be communicating with. It's not being a chump. It's taking the good with the bad. There is nothing or nobody in life, including Jesus Christ, that I agree with 100% of the time. Life is always entails trade offs.
But I still want to come here more because I also like to sometimes balonie around and not worry about constantly being watched and monitored. No where else are there are so many varying subjects here to talk about that has nothing to do with bbing. All the threads that I am currently on now arguing and fighting with people are not about men in thongs. Maybe the diet thread can be bbing related but the book I am referring, "The Calorie Myth" was not intended for bbers.
I love discussing, debating, arguing and fighting about all the issues under the sun with people from all over the world and being free to do so. I've found this is best place to do it. Freedom of speech is very, very important to me and as one of the original mods on the other board I have never banned anyone. I was always able to work things out via PM.
So I'll probably be posting more. Reading and/or responding to my threads or posts is purely voluntary. So just deal with it. It's a fucking message board for chrissakes! It's not that big of a deal. I haven't read a Falcon thread in years since he went crazy. I use to follow him like a shadow but it sucks when someone has lost his mind. For those who feel the same about me try the same approach. Just ignore me. It works.

Then you join a site that threatens peoples families and offers rewards for information, and made no secret it wanted to take this board down ..which you ignored.

Vince, my long time friend and often nemesis, the problem people have with you, not counting the condescending belittling tone, is that you have never successful proved any of your theories or "truths". You've tried with yourself but you failed. Bodybuilders, as with all athletes at the end of the day will simply do what works regardless of studies and theories. Maybe what is being done now is not optimal but bodybuilders today are bigger and leaner than ever before. They may not be as aesthetically appealing to the general public but they do what it takes to win. No one has ever achieved anything, nor do I believe they ever will, following your theories on muscle hypertrophy.

Actually, going by the dates, you started posting here before gh's board disappeared. I was the one reappear after it went down. I don't know why that should surprise anybody. Most here like posting on message board and when one isn't available they go elsewhere. And I always said I never left this board, never said I was leaving this board but that I just didn't have time to post here because I was Mod on the other board and felt obligated to keep up with things. I mean, just having to go through gh15's post history everyday was a job in itself. And, as CalvinH will attest, my own posts are very time consuming and laborious both to me and the few readers that have the patience to get through it.

No "beef"..just my thoughts.
Guys like Pellius and even Rearden never went out of their way to be everyone's best buddy on this site..they were pretty much their own entities and weren't trying to win any popularity contests.
You were omnipresent here. Mr Nice guy...And went out of your way to portray yourself as an old-school, stand up guy who didn't take shit from anyone and stood up for what's right.
Then you join a site that threatens peoples families and offers rewards for information, and made no secret it wanted to take this board down ..which you ignored.
Now that sites down and your everybody's best friend again on Getbig.
Like I said earlier.. what the fuck ever..it is only the internet. .but I personally find this very amusing.
Now I'm not trying to kiss up or be best buddies but again reviewing the threads and catching up over here I have to say that, Damn Groink! You're like a fine wine. You keep getting better with age. I've been in a bit of a slump but you've definitely inspired me.

Over the years getting to know Alex I became more and more impressed with how smart he is. He gets a lot of shit and I guess has a dark side but this dude is scary smart. When the fist or bullets start flying I want to be on his side.

Yes. A real serious (and strict) bbing board. It's not exactly a fun balonie around board. I once commented in the Mod section that the mood has changed on the board. People are often afraid to express themselves. The ban stick is always hovering over their heads. I quoted one of the PMs that I received that a member feels he is always walking on thin ice (or maybe it was egg shells). gh15 responded that's how they should feel. That being on his board is a privilege and they should always be aware of that . They should feel they are walking on thin ice.
I got it. It's his board and he can have it anyway he wants and he encourages people to leave if they don't like it. And many have left and have been forced out. There is no board on the net that bans people so frequently. I myself have been temp banned twice. And I was a fucking MOD! But I stay and I still like that board and what it is trying to achieve, it's "mission" and hope it comes back up. There are so many good knowledgeable posters there that I always want to be communicating with. It's not being a chump. It's taking the good with the bad. There is nothing or nobody in life, including Jesus Christ, that I agree with 100% of the time. Life is always entails trade offs.
But I still want to come here more because I also like to sometimes balonie around and not worry about constantly being watched and monitored. No where else are there are so many varying subjects here to talk about that has nothing to do with bbing. All the threads that I am currently on now arguing and fighting with people are not about men in thongs. Maybe the diet thread can be bbing related but the book I am referring, "The Calorie Myth" was not intended for bbers.
I love discussing, debating, arguing and fighting about all the issues under the sun with people from all over the world and being free to do so. I've found this is best place to do it. Freedom of speech is very, very important to me and as one of the original mods on the other board I have never banned anyone. I was always able to work things out via PM.
So I'll probably be posting more. Reading and/or responding to my threads or posts is purely voluntary. So just deal with it. It's a fucking message board for chrissakes! It's not that big of a deal. I haven't read a Falcon thread in years since he went crazy. I use to follow him like a shadow but it sucks when someone has lost his mind. For those who feel the same about me try the same approach. Just ignore me. It works.

And, btw, when we go on our dinner date, when it comes time to take me home just drop me off at the curb. Don't walk me to my door. I don't want that awkward moment when we look into each other's eyes to say good bye wondering if we should kiss. Just pull up to the curb, don't even look at me, and say, "See ya!"
