He really went hard on that kick too. It was preceded to a nice straight kick to the torso by Weidman that got him visibly pissed off; and Silva put everything on that kick. BIG mistake. Chris had checked some of his kicks before so he, being the champion that he was, should've known to check the waters first.

Chris Weidman has Anderson Silva's number in such a dominant fashion... I've never seen anything like it.

Google Dennis Alexio, old time world champion kick boxer. His injury was almost identical. Didn't look as bad on film but was the same injury caused by a leg check. Both were mid shaft and will heal fine.
