I disagree... Very often, Stewart is the only one pointing out the lies & hypocrisy of MSN, FOX, and CNN. He catches them in obvious lies, and he calls them out. And yes, he has new examples every week.
As new politicians tell new lies, as the networks try to sell new bullshit, I'm glad he's there to point it out.

back in 2004, 2006, there were a lot of getbiggers that honestly said they believed FOX was 100% fair and balanced.
They truly believed there was no slant - that OReilly wasn't leaning right, that Hannity didn't portray bush favorably... they believed it.
THEN websites like the young turks and jon stewart's show exposed a lot of really frequent "mistakes" like using old footage to make crowds appear larger or changing scandled Repubs to (D) when convenient. They called them out on their bullshit, and the bullshit slowed down a lot.
AND, Oreilly came out and said "Fox is fair and balanced in that we provide the right-leaning balance to the overall left-leaning industry which we're a part of. We even the scales" something along those lines, I'm paraphrasing. Big getbig thread discussion years ago when he admitted it.
Now, Repubs have to admit "Yes, fox leans right, but only because (obama sucks, lamestream media sucks, you choose a reason). They ADMIT it now. Jon Stewart helped to accomplish that.
