I'll just agree with Gal here. Even my wife of many years thinks I'm more attractive when I've dropped down and the face gets lean and the abs come out. You'd think even she wouldn't care, since we're married with kids and the relationship is so many things beyond just physical looks. But she does care. Women notice, and yes, women care. More than anything else? No. But it's definitely up there.
Society just hasn't allowed women to overtly and clearly express their desire for a lean muscular man without seeming shallow. Those days are coming to an end, and we'll see more women put more pressure on more men to get in shape...not less. Read up on demographic and household income changes to understand why.

Its a fucked up situation, yeah now I weigh myself about 7 times day (no joke), I purposely don't drink water at night even though i am really thirsty cos I know when I get up in the morning and weigh myself I don't want the scale to go up.
Constantly feel like shit dieting, don't hang out no more with friends, avoid restaurants and social places, diet really hard till I can't take it no more, then have a binge and feel like my stomach gonna explode and feel real fucking guilty and go nuts on cardio and starve myself the next day (like i am gonna do tomorrow)
....and its just one big vicious cycle.
BUT
This vicious cycle is so much better than being an obese fat fuck and look and feel like shit all the time and get sleep apnea all the time, and be breathless from walking 10 yards and cant get in a car or train cos such a fat fuck etc.
There is no middle ground, its impossible.
I just wish I could take enough of the right drugs to not give a fuck and eat shit and still burn it off all the time without dieting.

I wish I could tell you how to get to that middle ground, but you need to find it yourself. And you will. The suffering will eventually become too much. It does for us all.
And once you hit that middle ground you feel great, and look great.
