Title: US DEFENSE CONTRACTOR CAUGHT SMUGGLING F-35 BLUEPRINTS TO IRAN

http://benswann.com/us-defense-contractor-caught-smuggling-f-35-blueprints-to-iran/#ixzz2qayrMRb1

Reports came out from U.S. prosecutors that an engineer for a major U.S. defense contractor tried to smuggle thousands of secret documents and blueprints on F-35 stealth fighters to Iran.

Dual Iranian-American citizen, Mozaffar Khazaee, was arrested during travel last week. He was intercepted at a layover in Germany, on his way to his final destination in his home country of Iran.

Court documents say engineer Khazaee worked at several different defense contractors. Court documents say the most recent employer was based in Connecticut that built F-22 Raptor’s F-119 engines.

Khazaee had shipped 44 boxes labeled “Household Goods” that were filled with thousands of pages in dozens of binders related to the JSF [F-35 Joint Strike Fighter] program.

A court affidavit shows Khazaee has traveled to Iran five times in the last seven years. The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program is the most expensive defense program in history, and is estimated to cost $400 billion.

At this time Khazaee is accused of interstate transport of stolen property of the value of $5,000 or more. If convicted he could pay a fine or up to 10 years in prison.

Do you beleive this?  It's an excuse for the military to scrap a $400 billion dollar project of money they probably sifted into swiss bank accounts and will now ask congress for another $400 billion to start a new projects for "America's protection".

Now this was funny.

Well done. You are mastering your English faster then most orientals. You even seem to grasp the concept of sarcasm, which is usually lost on the Asians. Am I right?

Good job my Far East friend.

Nice conspiracy theory but if this is not the case "Mozzaffar" should be drawn and quartered.

Not a theory.  This project was a money pit with no end and failing and they needed a rip cord.  It is epic covering up the truth.

Surprise nobody said anything about this yet.

 http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/15/us/iraq-war-photos/

The pictures appear to show U.S. soldiers in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice ... which makes it a crime to mishandle remains.

Among the published photographs, a person in a Marine uniform appears to be pouring gasoline or some other flammable liquid on the bodies of insurgents. The remains are shown ablaze, and then charred.

Islamic custom strictly forbids cremation.

In another photograph, a Marine poses for the camera next to a human skull.

"There are well over a dozen bodies in the pics and some are covered with flies and one is being eaten by a dog," TMZ.com reported.

It said it turned the photographs over to the Pentagon last week and that U.S. Central Command had reviewed them to see whether they had previously been brought to its attention. They had not.

During the Iraq war, Falluja was the site of some of the bloodiest fighting between U.S. forces and insurgents. The battles were among the worst Marines had seen since Vietnam, said former Marine Capt. Jonathan Rue.

"This looks really bad, but we don't know exactly what was happening, and we don't know what the circumstances were. Nor do we know exactly who was in those photos," he said.

If the images prove authentic, it wouldn't be the first time Marines have come under fire for the treatment of enemy bodies.

In July 2011, Marines urinated on dead Taliban fighters and posed for photographs with the corpses in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

The incident did not come to light publicly until January of the following year, when a 39-second video showing the desecration was posted on the Internet. The video inflamed tensions over the U.S. presence in Afghanistan.

"People in battlefield situations do very strange and reprehensible things, and maybe that's simply part of life, and that's why you need to have a military justice system that can punish people and hopefully discourage this kind of conduct in the future," said Eugene Fidell, with Yale Law School, in response to the recently-published photographs.

"That isn't going to be an answer however to people in Iraq, who are likely to be very infuriated by this."

One of the biggest problems came about before the testing even started, when lockheed martin was able to actually submit it's design of the X-35 in the competition to produce the new JSF. When the X-35 won the competition some how, they failed to notice the needed specifications of "required weapons bay" which caused an almost immediate redesign adding billions onto the estimated project costs. The addition of the weapons bay's also added to weight issues later on in the program.

The new generation of aircraft were specifically requested to utilize weapon bay's because they were intended to use "Small Diameter Bombs" which are essentially very smart and accurate weapons to minimize collateral damage. They were actually created for only this purpose and for use on the new generation. Amazingly either the SDB was made too large, or the weapon's bays were too small(in both F-35 AND F-22 as if somehow Lockheed had "No idea they wanted to use those SDB's") that modifications had to be made to designs and existing craft to allow their use(HOLY FUCKING SHIT).

Lockheed continued to have "run on costs" which added more billions to the R&D they were allotted to the point where well over 600 million was withheld in payment and a Major General in charge of it's project was removed. There was also a "miscalculation" on Lockheed's part to write the code needed to fly the plane to the point where block 1 software flight happened at the end of 2010 but by 2012 the code had bloated to well over 24 million lines which is over 3x the original "estimate"(how convenient for Lockheed).

From that plane alone it has cost us over 1.5 TRILLION(it's a single fucking plane that really no one wanted since the A-10 was cheap as hell and was killing the SHIT out of the bad guys). The bidding system as well as oversight into the finances of those who pick the bids needs to be addressed and overhauled.

Why steal plans of a jet that can't fly in cloudy weather?

No, the people who vetted him should be put to death. Or at least fired and utterly disgraced. Persians gonna Persia, and they should have been aware of that.

Cost us? You are Brazilian correct, and not American, unless you too are a long running gimmick? furthermore the A-10 is old and slow...furthermore there were/are 3 variants of the F-35. One is conventional lift off, the next two were VLs (vertical liftoff), with the third being carrier based.
Possibly the neglect of a having a larger payload could have been due the specifications of having vertical liftoff.

The A-10 is old and slow, BUT, it is a flying f-ing tank. It is the one jet in our arsenal that is continually battle tested and always passes with flying colors. The ex fighter jockey generals rather have a faster jet with all the bells and whistles though, so do there friends at the DOD. But ask a guy on the ground what they want for support. An old ass jet that can empty 70 rounds of depleted uranium per second with pristine accuracy, or a brand new jet that can't even get off the ground.

all my fellow Marines (especially my Recon friend) were absolutley in love with th.e A10 for CAS.

Recon friend said there is nothing like laying on a mountaintop watching the a10 streak in overhead so low you think you could reach up and touch them, and watch and listen as that big cannon shredded the house with the afghanis standing in the windows with their AKs and RPGs totally unaware of the death swooping in on them.

he said tbat 30mm cannon will literally annihilate a house to the point that there is only small chunks of wood left, and each round hitting the ground is like a mini hand grenade explosion

amen...it was only a response to Brazil-Man.
Sometimes old Skool is better than new Skool. The question is how much does the A-10 have left in the tank?

Frontline had a good show on the showdown between Boeing with their X-32 and Lockheed Martin with their X-35.
