Any ideas what works. I wanna be able to load 4 by 8 sheets of whatever any ideas.
-
I think a truck would work for that.
-
Van all the way. Carry sheet materials on a roof rack or establish a space inside to slide them in and out on edge (more convenient than on top). Weatherproof, secure, massive cargo space, cheaper than a truck.
Guys always buy trucks and then all their shit gets rained on or stolen so they buy a 'cap' and set about turning it into a 1/3 capacity van. Tbh I think a lot of them just think they're supposed to have a truck because it's regarded as manly for some stupid reason, so you see all these construction guys with trucks and they can't carry jack shit in it. No reason for a truck unless you need 4x4, big towing capacity, or an open bed.
Some guys like to use a truck to tow a work trailer through the week so they can have a vehicle that they're not embarrassed to be seen in on weekends. I don't since I don't care what I'm seen in and a truck + trailer only suits open worksites. These guys are always in the shit trying to park, swing around, etc, if they're working in the city.

ford flex hold 4x8 sheets
-
Convertible Corvette would work easily. Just take the top down and you have infinite amount of space available height wise, much more than a pick up truck.
-
A bicycle and a hard hat with a 4x8 rack on top. Great for cardio and neck work.

most guys would say
"get a truck"
"get an F250"
"get a Tundra"
"get a Silverado 2500 with a duramax diesel"
"get a big chevy panel van"
blah blah blah....
fuck that.
be a real man.
get an International CXT.
or, a Ford F650.
... hell, even a GMC Topkick (the guys in the CXT's and F650's will think "nice try, buddy", but the guys in the F150's and Titans will hate you).
......... just be sure it's black.
hope this helps. ;)

Rarely do I find pedantry funny. However, on this occasion, it made me laugh.

Never understood guys working out of a pickup. Having to put tools in every morning and take them our again at night and you are fucked if you have to leave it anywhere during day with a bed full of tools. I can keep all my tools in my van and know they are there and never have the time when the tool i really need i forgot to load up this morning.
Plus i can jerk off in the back of my van
