Steroids have overtaken heroin & methamphetamines as the substance of choice for people injecting drugs in New South Wales !.
Steroids 74% vs Heroin 26%  ;)
Very easy victory for Mr.Steroids  ;D

I wish they would overtake heroin in the freaking US. Not because I want everyone pinning, but damn, I lost a lot of friends and friendly acquaintances growing up (my circle of friends...we made bad decisions I guess, heh). It would have been better to just be like, "Yeah, Bobby got kind of jacked, lost his hair, had its all over his shoulders, and had some liver problems," instead of "Yeah Bobby had a full head of hair, but he was a fat asshole, drank too much, and died of a fucking heroin overdose. Are you going to the funeral? I don't think I can take it. Third one this month."

They both come with jail time and health complications, generally. not always, but GENERALLY.  Not really apples and oranges.  maybe just two different kinds of apples.

And yet when i was back home over Christmas it seemed as though the next generation are significantly fatter and less athletic looking than I've ever seen before.

Maybe it's the oldies who are getting on the gear.
