Custom. They come to your office to measure and show you fabrics.

Here's a reasonable option: http://www.tomjames.com/

Yep, bespoke is the only way to go. The higher initial costs are offset by longer life and vastly more comfort and style.

There are several of these across the US.

i need to dress in a shirt, vest, tie, all that stuff, a few times a week now.

I go to mens Warehouse.  They measure and fix me up right.  I spent $500 the last time I went in there, but I went on 1/2 price sale, so I picked up a few interchangable outfits + a nice jacket.  Since then, I've had to get a few more ties and vests.

So I'd recommend that... find a nice mens store, get all your sizes, buy the items there that you HAVE to, so they'll tailor it... then get your vests, ties and other easy items from ebay stores, much cheaper.

Ah, the annual 'I'm too big for off-the-rack clothes' thread. Time flies.

Im sure its hard to believe due to the twink to actual lifter ratio around here.  But my neck is too large to close the collar on store bought shirts.
Also I am sure there is a smaller ratio of folks here who actually require a shirt and tie.

Yes. I'm still waiting for the annual "getbig just discovers who Jeff King is" thread. Seems like it should be popping up around now.

Inevitably followed up by the "Vic Richards is a freak" thread

huh?

pretty sure I've gotten 20in neck shirts at Neiman Marcus or Macy's.

I know for sure I've gotten them at Marshalls (like Ross or Kohls.. TJMax probably has them as well)... cheap too and decent quality for like $20.

there's always Mens Warehouse. not sure I'd buy a suit from a "chain store" like JCPenny, Neiman Marcus, macy's, RobinsonsMay, ect...

I live in Canada    most of America is obese and because of this all the clothes are bigger...  but usually bigger like curtains

Ah, the annual 'I'm too big for off-the-rack clothes' thread. Time flies.

I'm not a big guy by any means and I can't find a decent off-the-rack suit anywhere. I bought a very cool calvin klein suit a few weeks ago and needed to have everything but the pants adjusted. And I'm only 5'11, 200lbs and 32" waist. I can only imagine some of the bigger guys and how hard it is for them to pick out a suit that fits. The problem isn't finding one that's big enough, its finding one that is form fitting with the right dimensions. Any clown can wear a suit that fits his shoulders and hangs like drapes, its much harder to find a suit made for serious lifters.
I also find it difficult to find shirts that fit my shoulders and neck. I always thought that if shoulders are wider neck should be wider to, but I guess not? I'd try on a shirt with a large enough neck and everything else hangs, I find a shirt that fits well but can't button up the top button.

ROFLMAO.

One I haven`t seen in a while is the "Hands too big for the Protein Jug" that used to be popular with Doggcrap and the Permabulkers.

easy for smaller guys but its hard to add material to a expensive suit   "store bought"  not custom made

I'm generally not a suit guy. Very rarely do I wear suits (maybe 3x/ year?).
My work doesn't require I wear a suit. I wear jeans and a t shirt that hopefully doesn't have stains on it.

But when I see a really nice suit, I'll buy it and find places to wear it.
