Title: My friend and partying
Post by: Darren Avey on January 24, 2014, 07:53:59 AM
I think theres something really wrong with a friend of mine each time we go out and party like last Saturday he s ill for a week! We were out till 5am, few bars, quite a few drinks and a bit of coke. He spent all day Sunday in bed and took Monday and Tuesday off work cos he was too ill and then the rest of the week hes got home from work and gone straight to bed. I think theres something seriously wrong here but he insists it just takes him a while to recover.

Maybe he is drinking again on the sunday to keep his hangover at bay? Might explain why it takes him a bit longer to get right?

handsome darren
if when the warmer weather comes around and we were to organise a uk getbig members night on the drink, could we count on your magnificently handsome facial features making an appearance which would provide a significant boost to the groups attractiveness

something must be physically or mentally off with this fella...i used to work on a party island in spains territory...seen some really crazy stuff how fucked people get on coke (esp those who smoke it!). Alcohol in large amounts might even be worse for your body than almost any narcotic...but sick for a week? 2 or even 3 days is the worst i heard from a rookie. He should drink small amounts and gradually lower the dose snd it wil be easier for him. That or there was something else in that coke...but you and the other dudes are fine right?

for people that party... a bump or two of coke... that's like us taking ECA at 10pm so we have the energy to stay out all night?

Is it kinda the equivalent?  A chemical reaction for a little energy that we trust & understand, no worries?

(Never done coke, never will, just curious).

wow.   I run a chunk of caffeine + half a bronkaid, sip a red bull and I feel highly energetic.

I guess coke must really be an out of this world feeling.  I've seen some family members completely throw away everything for coke... must be some amazing feeling I can't imagine to be that worth it.

Coke sucks.

The best part about doing coke is going to go get it. Then you get the anticpation shits. After the first few lines, you're just chasing the dragon until you run out of it. Running out of it puts you at a crossroads. Make another run and get more? Or deal with the dreadful comedown that ensues?

I don't think he has a "problem". I was the same way. It works like this: the drug plus alcohol will "open him up" energetically.. when he "comes down", his consciousness falls lower that it was prior .. if he is sensitive or is a spiritually minded person it'll be a bad come down.  In addition, past trauma will come forth when he opened up so feelings of despair and depression even powerful panic attacks can be common. Some people who are on a lower level of consciousness can do quite a bit of drugs and alcohol no problem.

If I get smashed one night, next day I feel horrible, depressed and very very unpleasant. It would take me 3 full days to feel "normal" again. So I can relate. How about he skips the drugs and maybe cut down on alcohol. Or maybe find new friends that enjoy other things.. just a thought.

I'm the same exact way my friend. That makes a lot of sense.

BTW .. when I say a higher level of consciousness it does not mean the person is more intelligent.  Intellect is the bridge between ignorance and knowing. When you know, you make little use of the intellect.

Are you a spiritual/sensitive person?

That's what I was thinking.

Coming down off a real bender should leave you sitting in your bathtub crying.

Wimps.
