Damn, I wonder what his motive was.
WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A 16-year-old boy was critically injured Monday after setting himself on fire in the cafeteria at a suburban Denver high school in an apparent suicide attempt, authorities said.
Westminster Police Department spokeswoman Cheri Spottke said the boy didn't make any threats before starting the fire at about 7:15 a.m. at Standley Lake High School.
"There is no indication there were any threats to any schools," she said.
Spottke said a custodian was able to use a fire extinguisher to put out the blaze before it could spread. Several other students were in the cafeteria at the time, but none was injured.
She didn't know how the student set the fire, which caused extensive smoke in the building.
Jefferson County Public Schools spokeswoman Lynn Setzer said the school was closed for the day and students were sent home.
She said she didn't know if students were in class when the fire was reported.
Setzer said students without cars were taken by buses to a local middle school, where they were picked up by their parents.
Security vehicles and police cruisers blocked the entrance to the school as light snow fell on a frigid morning.

I think we should ban anyone owning guns. We should also ban freedom of speech, since having freedom of speech can sometimes hurt another persons feelings.

Feel for the kid but something isn't right about that place. Great white west Republican state with school shootings, movie massacres and now this. I couldn't get out of that state after 2.5 years fast enough.

Seriously, this country is having some serious issues. Mental illness, people kirking out, shooting at malls, just all types of stuff. Signs of a society that is falling apart, but yet all we care about is the Grammys.

kids and children today don't fear their parents like some of us on here used to, but they also know where their parents firearms are unseculity. Parents have lost influence to their child by way social media. It would probably be good to have a come jesus beating every now and then and giving away all the crap his parents had bought him over the year. That might help change the little fucker outlook on life. om how he's been acting towards others.
