I woke up sometime last night with severe pain in my right pec, I guess right where you could call the "inner chest". I haven't done a chest workout in a week. Anyone ever have a stupid thing like that happen to you? One time I sneezed and tore up something in my lat as well. ???

I pulled a rib muscle opening a fridge
I pulled a thigh muscle getting out of bed

Sometimes when you sneeze it feels like your ball sack wants to rip open.

I hurt my back one night sleeping weird. woke up a little sore and it got worse all day. didn't get back to 100% for like a month. I wouldn't call it a tear though prob just a tweak.

last weekend, I was carrying an 80-pound speaker and didn't see a 6-inch step down. Instantly, my body dropped. In my head, I had a quick flash of blown knee or lower back. But I was fine. I don't think a person that didn't use deadlifts & squats on a regular basis could have taken that drop. I kept walking like it was nothing, completely shocked I didn't fall. I had enough muscle to absorb the impact.
it seems like most injuries (for well-trained people) occur doing silly things.
An untrained person is going to pull his back picking up groceries. We got that shit.
But today my back got funny for a minute just bending over sideways to pick up a book off a desk I don't use. Some weird angle of height and twisting (and it's cold/rainy). Instant sensation of "I'm going to the ER"... then i stretched and whatever kink it was, disappeared and I was fine.

No that doesn't sound normal. If you have chest pain so severe that it waked you up, you might want to consider it's something more than a "pec" problem, you retard. There's a fairly important organ in your chest :-\

Same with me. I can take a fall or lift weights or heavy objects and be fine, but I have tweaked my neck brushing my teeth.
Also have to be careful with the back, reaching for things and such.

I've pulled muscles in my neck/traps/upper back, strained my shoulders, hurt my mid/lower back/erectors more times than I can count. They are probably cramped from sleeping in a weird position. They typically happen if my mattress gets too old, or from pillows that are too flat.
I've always slept on my side, this tends to aggravate my shoulders. I sleep with a large pillow under the arm that is not being slept on... helps a lot.

Fucked my neck up one night from a bad nights sleep, I had to sleep flat on my back for a week after it to avoid aggravating it.

I was doing some volunteering for Water Aid in Sudan a few years back and I woke up with severe pain in my colon/intestines...very odd. I got the team doc to check me over and he said there was a lot of noice coming from my cabin that night, so I guess I must have fallen off the bunk or something - just one of those things

God no, and it was not my heart, it was just that I slept at a bad angle. 100% fine today.

Tell me about it. I lifted for 60+ years and can hardly move my arms if I fall asleep with my arms/hands above my head. I hurt in every joint. Can no longer lift.
The guy who has a sore nut sack when he sneezes…small hernia.
