I actually believe MVP was really good and that he could have been a huge face if given the chance. Like many others he wasn't.

That being said given what a piece of shit he was in his young adulthood I would have never hired him in the first place.

It doesn't exactly make the company look big time if a WWE midcarder made enough money there to buy TNA.
