Ronnie NEVER looked grainy. He always looked smooth, even when his muscles and veins were popping out.

Black people have large amounts of collagen in their skin compared to whities, so they hardly ever get the grainy no-skin look precipitated by long term steroid use.

Graininess is essentially a sign of skin damage, as the skin becomes extremely thin and worn from the effect of testosterone and sun damage and the like. I believe this is why dennis wolf looks so fucking old.

I was at the 98 NOC, Ronnie looked great, Levrone was right there with him! It could of gone either way! Ronnie was better at the Olympia he was a lot harder!

That (Ronnie age 34) is the best BB of all time. Arnold maybe have had the greatest potential ever,but by age 27 he started fading out and moving on to bigger and better things,

I'm not a fan of Dorian's physique either, but there is no denying the man was a completely different specimen at the time. One of the few guys with a physique I don't like that I read up on.
