With all the heat that poo poo Peyton is taking (and deservedly so) about getting his fucking doors blown off last night, it's strange that John Fox isn't getting more shit. His team was so fucking unprepared for that game. He and Jack Del Rio looked like scared little kids on the sideline when things started to go awry.
End of the first half, fourth down, you're in field goal range and you have zero points on the board, losing 22-0, dude you KICK THE FUCKING FIELD GOAL. You have to put something on the board! What a moron!
Fast forward to the middle of the 3rd quarter, now losing 29-0, it's 4th down and you're on Seattle's 35-40 yard line, and he fucking punts??? This is the super bowl bro! There was only a quarter and a half left to make up 29 fucking points and you punt??? LOL.
I knew from the start of the season that Denver wouldn't win the super bowl b/c they had a bad coach, a QB who notoriously chokes in big games, and a receiver in Welker who has choked in superbowls and championship games previously.
-
X2 he coached the Panthers at one time and they sucked. Riding Manning's coat tail where would they have been without Manning.

have to agree. I was laughing at the Broncos ineptitude in every phase of the game.
Peyton (the phaggot) manning making "the face" on the sidelines. hahaahaahaahaaaaaa
I knew Seattle was going to win. Every interview Manning gave pre-game he was all chipper and happy...and I'm laughing knowing he's going to have that smile wiped off his face..hhaahahaaahaahahaa aa...hopefully he dies.

only two teams make the super bowl each year and he took two different teams to the super bowl
one of them had jake delhomme at quarterback

He inherited two outstanding teams. Denver was stacked, any coach could have taken them deep. If Belichick coached this team they'd still be pouring champagne on their heads. As far as Carolina goes, Fox ran that fucking team into the ground. When he left they were like 1-15. He looks like a nice guy, but he's an awful NFL coach.

was carolina stacked in 03? yeah carolina went into the tank but you could say that about most teams aside from new england over the last 12 years or so
why is a coach penalized for having good players? he didn't play a part in drafting those players? he didn't pick tebow
if he's a loser for losing the super bowl than what does that make the 30 coaches that didn't make the super bowl?
how good of a coach was pete carroll when his loaded usc team lost to weak stanford and ucla teams in 2006? what about when the seahawks went 7 -9 in 2010?

I almost felt sorry for them until I kept remembering all the talk about Manning being the greatest quarterback ever if he won.

I remember the LB Witherspoon shooting the gap and dropping the RB in the backfield and they gave ne a undeserved 1st down. Who knows if the game would of turned out different but it was a 4th down play and momentum changer in that game. Ne only won thT SB by 3

Im a bronco's fan. Last night was disappoint.
But I have to admit, no coaching, luck, or divine intervention could of helped them.
I played football, and I can attest the feeling of being outclassed physically. Nothing you can do, no inner strength can help. It was obvious the weight room has been neglected for the O line and the gear is in full supply for the Hawks D. Suspension and Halo T for all.

Welker is 0-3 in Super bowls.
Patriots haven't won a super bowl since spygate. They say that has nothing to do with it... but does anyone doubt they would have won at least one of those 2 narrow losses to the Giants, if they had video on everything? I'm sure of it. Both game, remember, came down to the wire. Gronkowski ALMOST caught that pass at the end to win it all. Pinning ball to helmet on 4th down, total luck.
Give them the video, and they win those games by 10. Which makes you question the first 3 Brady super bowl wins. Three rings by 28, and nothing in almost a decade since...
-
I thought it was odd when they (Denver) scored finally, then attempted a (failed) onside kick with 15 minutes still to go in the game. Seattle marched down and promptly scored again with the short field.
-
Good thing his New baboon heart didnt give out on him during the superbowl
-

Yeah, I know the rest....they got smoked b/c of bad coaching. When the shit hits the fan in the NFL you need a good coach to keep you in the game.

Brady's the best qb ever. If he gets one moe ring it's not even debatable. I'll play maybe the rams game not phi or car

You obviously know dick about sports. Every team, every player are doing everything they can to win. The Pats jus got caught, they all do it

You do realize Montana has 4 rings right?
x2 Montana was 4/4 in Super Bowls.
So even if Brady were to win a fourth, Montana would have that over him.
Although some would look at that as a mark in Brady's favor (went to six SBs vs. four for Montana).

Its hard to win the superbowl. Its hard to make it to the superbowl.
The Patriots went undefeated and reached the superbowl the year they were accused of spygate.
They made it to three consecutive Afc championship games and another superbowl since then.
You know jack about shit Rob.

Both super bowls patriots lost , tom brady had them in the lead and the Defense lost them the games.

I'll tell you something else.... The Patriots would not have lost 43-8.
And the debate is officially over. Peyton will never be as good as Brady.

hey im a raider fan, fuck their first title and the tuck rule lol ;D

It has to be pretty tough to be the head coach of a team where your QB basically thinks he's the head coach. Manning was down 29-0 on Seattle's side of the field and handing the ball off on 3rd and 10 because he didn't want to hurt his stats by throwing another INT. He should have been throwing the fukcing ball down field. Peyton called those plays. No one else...

Yeah, I know the rest....they got smoked b/c of bad coaching. When the shit hits the fan in the NFL you need a good coach to keep you in the game.
I don't buy it. You don't say that a coach sucks (a presumable blanket statement) just because they didn't have an answer for Carroll's defence. Seahawks went 13-3. Granted it was the biggest game of the season but the fact remains if that Fox coached them there in his second Superbowl. You cant say to a Coach who can do that, that "he sucks". Since he's been with Denver he's gone 34-14 in three seasons.
Carroll is a defencive magic man and has a way to fire a team up like no other. You have the #1 Defence and the #1 Offence in the NFL facing off. It was the stragity of Carroll that if they won the toss to kick-off, not very many Coaches that I'm aware of does that. His confidence in his defence is what kicked the shit out of Denver. No team would have beat Seattle yesterday, not even the Patriots if they were firing on all cylinders. Are you kidding me?
I've seen Carroll at practices when he was at USC, been to coaching clinics with him, seen him walk into the weight room, you can't help to get fired with him just being in the room. They won because Carroll believed his team, not because Fox is a bad coach.

Lol at all the Monday morning quarter backing. Literally.
The WORST Nfl coach is 10000X more capable at coaching a team than the most knowledgeable message board coach.

I agree with this. I think about a dozen teams would have scored more than 8 points. Seattle is good but not that good. Yesterday was a little odd from the opening missed snap.

Then again the average millionaire, well cultured, well traveled, well endowed, sporting 21" biceps getbigger might know a thing or two about coaching a team.
obviously.

This was a horrible superbowl. Even the commercials sucked ass. My whole family was looking at each other like "really?".
Only one thing will cement Peyton's legacy. You could tell he was embarrassed last year when the Broncos were 1 and done as the #1 seed.
Look at what he did this year: Broke a ton of passing records, had the #1 offense of all time, and took the Broncos to the superbowl. Again he was embarrassed.
If Peyton comes back and wins the superbowl next year, then I will bow down to his steely-eyed determination.

Why do people keep giving Peyton a pass?
-
John Fox isn't the one who is getting pushed around at the line of scrimmage.
Seattle's Defense came to play and flat out stomped a whole the Denver O-line.
That's how it goes down.
-
Peyton developed the offensive gameplan in all probability. It was horrible and no adjustments. Fox is a mediocre coach who rarely makes in game adjustments.

No doubt Peyton runs the whole show on offence...However he gets to hide behind coaches when things don't go well like last night.
-

Are you retarded? Peyton played horrible. He did however make a great improvement over last year.
I said I will give him props if he comes back and wins it all next season.
I think Peyton is a choke artist, and has an under .500 playoff record. Still a superbowl champion, and a first ballot hall of famer.
I also have a special hatred for Peyton (along with Big Ben) as a Pats fan. It seems like we have to go through one or both every fucking year.
Oh and Fuck Flacco.
-
All these coaching experts...too bad there are only 32 teams available to spread all this genius around. ::)

I asked a question. It seems that Peyton tends to get a pass a lot of times. From the media and public.

Yeah, he threw a couple of picks. His O-line sucked and both were no match for Seattle's D. But if I heard correctly, he broke a Superbowl completion record.

Thats the funny thing. Pete Carroll is the anti Belichick. I think he is more of a cheerleader then anything.
The guy has fun, and he bonds with his players. They love the guy.
People respect and fear belichick (although he cares about his players far more then the media portrays)
It proves that you can win either way.

AndI would bet that Carrol is just as good with the xs and os as belichick...it's all perception.
Seahawks seem to always be in the right play...you never see them get burned for huge gains.
-
You left out very good coach.
He is veru good at what he does. He is a great motivator and leader. He is probably at the bottom half of the league as an x's an o's guy.
But who gives a shit!!! His method works. Except when he coached the Patriots :-X

Do you even watch football Groink? The Seahawks have an all-time great defense. Give any team the Seahawks defense, and 90% would win the superbowl. Remember when guys like Trent Dilfer and Rex Grossman made it to the superbowl?
Look at it this way. Carroll lets his coordinators do their jobs. Belichick also has coordinators, but we all know he probably tells them what to do.
Belichick is a film room rat. Carroll is dropping it low to the latest hit song at practice.
Both are good coaches. Caroll has a long time to go before he can even wipe Belichick's ass though.
Remember guys, Belichick has two superbowl rings as defensive coordinator with the Giants as well. ('86, '90 )

Yes I watch football. You ever notice that the Seahawks are always in good position ? Dont get burned on draws and screens and shit. When someone makes a catch there is a Seahawk RIGHT THERE that wraps him.up...no 15 yards after the catch. They are always in the right play..and right place. Thats coaching. Carrol has been around since bud grants Vikings.

They have the best atheletes on defense. Plain and simple.
They really are an all-time great defense. Remember guys, Statistically, the Broncos were the best offense of all time. Held to 8 shitty points.
The 49ers almost beat the Seahawks in Seattle, in the NFC championship. Defense really does win championships.
I know that better then most. The '07 Pats were the greatest offense of all-time, and went undefeated to the superbowl. Then they ran into the Giants pass rush. and.... bubblegum on the helmet of Tyree :-X

Yes I'm sure their athletes are so head and shoulders above the other teams...so much so they can be burned on a play but still make a tackle for a loss....because they are like supermen ::)

read what you just wrote. Read it again. My statement was of the past. Your statement is of the future. You are using present tense.
And of course this would happen now, duh. This Superbowl was hyped up as #1 Offense, and Peyton tends to always get the "pass" due to his passing stats ..mention him choking is glanced over. It's mentioned, but the NFL loves offensive...

Dude...........They are head and shoulder (as a unit) above almost everyone on defense. The 49ers D are also very good, but lack the talent in the secondary. The 49ers actually have a better front 7 than the Hawks imo.
Remember when the Cardinals beat the Seahawks in Seattle? No coincidence that Arizona also has one of the better defenses in the league.
It is also part hype and perception. Everyone says the Seahawks D is the greatest, so people (including other teams) start to believe it. Mike Tyson syndrome.
-

No brah..... real sports fans/analysts have him pegged. He might go down as the best regular season quarterback (stats wise) of all-time. That is what will get him into the hall of fame.
He chokes more then he wins in the playoffs. Real sports fans already knew this.

U seriously?? Quit regurgitating what everyone says?? ::)
Yeah spygate is responsible for the giants catching that tyree catch, or the one when welker dropped that crucial one in the second SB
Brady, both times put his team in position to win....
Put his team in position to win? In 2007 he was part of the most prolific offense in NFL history, with prime Moss and Welker. He wasn't supposed to be in a position to win, he was supposed to dominate, and scored only 2 TDs the whole game. The Giants beat the living shit out of him all game, and made him mediocre, like most NFL quarterbacks are when they don't have 3-4 seconds to throw the ball.
The second game Brady was worse - panicked on the first play with Tuck bearing down which led to a safety, and the throw to Welker could have been much better.
Bottom line is that nobody's taking away what Brady and Belichek have accomplished, both are in the argument for the best at what they've done. But, despite playing in a complete shit division almost their entire run, they haven't won a thing in a decade and haven't won a thing since spygate. Those are just indisputable facts.
And, if everyone was doing what they were doing (videotaping the others' walkthroughs), then that must mean it works. And if it works, it could be the difference maker in a tight game, like all three Patriot wins.
NE fans are acting like they won something last night. Manning butt raped their team, then proceeded to play horribly in the SB. He was terrible by his standards, although I don't think anyone was beating Seattle last night.
-

Dude, The Giants suck. Deal with it. The NFC East actually was pretty horrible the last few years as well. Make the playoffs then come talk to me. Brady led potential game winning drives in both games against the Giants in the superbowl. The defense, and Welker let him down.
The spygate argument loses steam when you look at what the Patriots have done since.
An undefeated regular season, 2 superbowl appearances, and three consecutive AFC championship games.
Giants fans need to pipe down. 2 straight years out of the playoffs? Laughable.

But they know how to beat them Patriots don't they.
The Pats have won how many Games against them in the past 5 years?
I think they are 1-2 against Coughlin and the New York Football Giants.

Eli owns Brady and has the rings to show it. Let the Pats have their division titles and playoff defeats. I'll take the 2 SB since '07 any day over........NONE since '04.

You mean not win a Super Bowl?

But that is what is laughable. Sure, the Giants beat the Pats in the superbowl twice, but that does not make them a better franchise. I respect the Giants, but the patriots are far more consistent.
You have to make the playoffs to be a viable franchise. The Giants are a toss up every year. You can almost pencil in the Patriots as one of the teams in the AFC championship game.
Sorry Giants fans.

The Giants can't even make the playoffs!!! You lose.
Eli Manning is a better clutch quarterback than Peyton. That is why Brady will always be better than Peyton.
Brady is the best quarterback of this generation.

Enjoy your AFC East Championship paraphernalia. I'm sure you look at it with great memories of the last decade.

;D Like I have said before...... It is a house divided with me. I go to my dad's house every weekend. He is a Giants fan. We watch the Pats and the Giants with sunday ticket every week.
The Giants are obviously not my favorite team, but I do like them. Inconsistent as hell though.
My brother and I like to watch my dad's reactions almost as much as the game itself. ;D

The Giants have as many Superbowl wins as the Patriots.
I'd say that makes the franchises just about even.
Neither of them is a Dallas or a San Francisco or a Green Bay.
I think you're just being blinded by the Patriot love... Which is fair, they are your team, but winning it all is what it's all about.
Coming in 2nd does nothing.

actually the giants have won 4 SB's to NE's 3
neither Dallas or SF have won a SB in almost 20 years
-
ahem!!!!
Yeah..... and thank Belichick for two of them. Belichick's defense biatch!!!!

That is unbelievable. I would have never thought that unless I put some serious time into it.
It reminded me when NY went to the SB in 07 and I realized it had been 16-17 years.

Belichick is probably the greatest coach in history.

It took longer then I expected: +1 Grape Ape scalp.

Yeah, for sure... It's been a LONG LONG time.
But then again, San Fran did go last year, they just came up short.

Impossible. I have no idea who you are ???
I am not a coward.

Peyton cemented his legacy last night as the 2nd best QB of his generation, behind Tom Brady. They're both great, like Bird and Magic, or Borg and McEnroe, but Brady is clearly better. He's gone to championships with receivers like Reche Caldwell, David Givens, David Patten. Manning has always had guys like Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, and now the fleet of people on Denver.
Both great QB's, but Brady is better. New England is the best team in the NFL for the last 12 years. They've been to two superbowls since "spygate" and have gone to the AFC championship the last three years including this year when they were absolutely decimated with injuries. Manning could not have done what Tom Brady has done this year.
And John Fox sucks as a coach ;D

I am in love. :-*

Which is why the "John Fox sucks at coaching" is moronic.

From his own players!!

Manning could not have done what Tom Brady has done this year.
Agreed.
He'd never have a QB rating that low.
-
Agreed.

You're right, he wouldn't, because Peyton is all about his own individual stats. This year and every year is about yards, TD's, MVP awards, Tom Brady is the quintessential team player and leader. He doesn't care about that other shit, he wants to win superbowls and he's won three.
-

Patriots lost to the Broncos. The fans of the NFL lost in the end though.
There is no way the Patriots would have lost 43-8. Every single superbowl (5) Brady has been in, has been close. I'd say the Pats would have lost by 10. Still a watchable game.

Yeah, Brady purposely had his QB rating low to help the team. ::) ::)

Remember last seasons game against the Seahawks which is essentially the same team the pats were winning up to the fourth quarter 23-10 I believe...
Then the Seahawks came back with 2 back to back tds to end it 24-23
Reg season games don't mean jack I know but just to put into perspective...
The broncos played the Seahawks the season earlier and got beat 40-10...
Come SB and it was worse

Yeah I remember that. That was the Sherman "U mad bro?" Game.
The defense has let Brady down alot. They won 3 out of 4 superbowls because they had a goid defense. It was not because of spy gate.

Then again the average millionaire, well cultured, well traveled, well endowed, sporting 21" biceps getbigger might know a thing or two about coaching a team.
obviously.
Bullshit, millionaires & culture ;D , well traveled o fuck,well endowed ;D how would U know this ? without BJ millionaires ;D
21" biceps & get big, hilarious ...................... (fat biceps perhaps ;D)
