Anyone seen this movie - James McAvoy deserves an Oscar for that performance - but it's not exactly an oscar type movie.

I just finished watching it and I am totally blown away by the whole thing. More that I was by Clockwork Orange.

I read the book - but this is one of those rare cases where the movie blows the book away completely.

It's about a rather nasty cop with lots of bad habits. Was out in 2013.

It's based on a book by Irvine Welsh.

People have knocked the film for trying to shock but , there's plenty from the book they didn't put in, which they could of for pure shock factor.

I see. I don't think that the movie is my cup of tea, but I am sure a lot of others would enjoy it.
