If you get in the bath put a lightbulb in your mouth and drop a hairdryer in you can make it light up.

granite will ionize or electrify the air because it is slightly radioactive it releases radon gas
in a granite shaft it can keep an eletrical charge

flowing water generates a small electrical charge wich means it generates an electric current wich means it generates and electromagnetic feild

this is extremely basic however all of you disagree

I laughed so hard at this thread. Someone should team Falcon up with Bill Nye or Myth Busters. That would be an entertaining show.

Professor FALCON, It's been a long time ago in which I knew a bit about this stuff of which you speak but I believe you are referring to the "Electrolysis of water" .... which in itself is pretty damn interesting if  one's miond is so inclined in this direction.

Actually the 'STREAM'  itself  (the water flowing from the faucet) is NOT split ... but the water is 'split' into  Hydogen and Oxygen which resulted in the 'formation' of some form of electrical current which was used for something that I've long forgotter in the late 1800's. (I was out that day but I think that one guy wanted to create a pound and a half of some home-made gold bullion - or something).

I could be mistaken but I think most GetBiggers visualize that  division of a single stream into two streams flowing independently, but that is not the way it should be thought of.

It is the 'division' of the water particles itself.

But this subject has been long forgotten so don't let my response stop you from any in-house water faucet experiments you may have in mind.

Where some fail ... Others succeed!

Post Notes for example!

no man what im sayin is if you split a stream of water into two you can put an led light indicator between the two streams and it will light up periodically
