The gene pool in bb isn't what it was 20 years ago because you have to factor in people who are willing to take steroids AND gh AND insulin AND synthol AND whatever else and it turns off a lot of people with potential who would otherwise compete at the highest levels.

Its not a matter of who's best but rather who is best among those that are willing to do what it now takes and not be worried about heath horrors in the future.

I agree....I'm not why huge quads get judged positively....I really like the more narrow cut quads.....it just looks so much more streamlined in my opinion.

it does look better.  Modern bb quads look retarded. It's about shock value and gays being into muscle worship.

gotta say this is pretty harsh thread

 ;D

it's the evolution of genetics

No it's not. We don't evolve that much in 20-30 years.

It's the evolution of the substances these guys are taking.

I don't have huge legs by any stretch, but if you actually just train them they'll normally get to a pretty appreciable size, especially on gear. Legs blow up with any amount of volume, but I don't think people should go ham and get quads that are as big as a normal person's waist.

I don't bother training for quad size anymore. Doing stepper and two lighter leg workouts a week keep mine at a great size with lots of cuts. I wouldn't want any larger quads. It's so tough finding a good pair of jeans when you have ridiculously sized quads. They don't even look any better. :-X

The most ridiculous thing about that picture is the green sparkling thong paired with the ridiculous baseball cap turned sideways.

When i was a teenager Benfatto was in several magazine covers. There was no internet.
The pursuit of his phisyque was the motivation which kept me going to the gym and keep a disciplined nutrition.

With today's examples i would have gave up soon.

Atleast Che was smart enough to realize that I am comparable. You think of Benfatto, you think of Shizzo.
