Jenny let Forrest hit it raw, knowing she had AIDS. She potentially passes it on to Forrest and their son. Jenny was a scumbag.
Spot on.
And Forrest's mother with the principal? Yeeeeeesh....

Two things:
1) That no matter what happens inside each of us we are "still Lt. Dan".
2) When times get hard all of us need to go home to "Greenbow A-LA-BA-MA!!"

Don't think they really knew what it was or how you got it back then. I think she died in the early 80s.
-
Right, they never said AIDS in the movie, but her description and the time period helped draw the audience to that conclusion.
No, I know, I just don't think she did. I remember that part bugged me, too. Audience knows both Forrests might have a rough road ahead.
-
No but she did say she had a "virus" that the doctors never seen before and she was going to die. Between the HO'ing and the drug use it's an easy conclusion

I dont remember her fucking a monkey in the movie, everyone knows thats where aids came from.

Run Forrest run !

As I said, we know, but she didn't. The original point was whether she knowingly/selfishly passed it on to Forrest. At the time, Jenny wasn't aware how contagious she could be.

True...I can remember even in the late 80's and early 90's people still were confused if you could get it by kissing or sitting on a toilet seat

It was still "Gay Cancer" in the early 80s, if memory serves.

Considering the film was based around Forest stumbling upon popular events and the fact tom hanks played an aids patient the year before, you'd have to be a fucking idiot to think she didn't have it.
-
if you're an idiot who runs mindlessly with the system there's reward for you
Forrest Gump showed us that being a college graduate, college football star, war hero, CEO of shrimping company, and major share holder of apple computers pays off
Funny how the gypsy thinks "if you run like an idiot in the system you get rewarded"
he hasnt accomplished any of those things lol and wonders why he's a broke slaphead

this scene is great
wiggs spewing a monologue to foreest who doesnt listen

Did you know that the role of Forrest Gump was turned down by three other well known actors before it went to Tom Hanks?
3. John Travolta: Forrest Gump in Forrest Gump
It’s almost hard to believe it, but this as-if-it were-made-for-Hanks Hanks role was first offered to John Travolta, who declined to take part in the film. While many stars claim that they don’t regret turning down ultimately iconic roles, Travolta has readily admitted that refusing the role wasn’t the best choice he’d ever made. Oh, and Hanks had to wait for Bill Murray and Chevy Chase to also turn down the role before it finally went to him.
Neo in The Matrix was turned down by Will Smith before it went to Keanu Reeves. Indiana Jones was supposed to go to Tom Selleck. Vivian in Pretty Woman was turned down by Molly Ringwald. For for full list of 15 actors who turned down huge roles go here http://www.hollyfame.com/biggest-career-mistakes-movie-stars-15-actors-turned-huge-roles/
