Title: Techniques for advanced trainers only:
Post by: Hulkotron on February 15, 2014, 11:50:56 AM
Please post them here if you are one of the bigger/stronger guys and let's keep it bb related thanks.

I will start:

Frustrated by lagging triceps?  This can be caused by attempting to synergize triceps training with concurrent biceps training.  Give triceps their own day to stimulate new growth.

In order to really hone in on the "mind muscle connection", I like to tie a piece of string around the muscle I'm training. I do this first thing in the morning. All day long I feel the string and I visualize my rippling, striated, perfectly oiled muscles, contracting and blowing up from within. By the time I get to the gym that evening, as you can imagine, it's LIGHTS OUT.

*remember I'm one of the bigger guys here so this won't work for you if you are average.

Yes this warning should likely be included as a footnote to all posts in this thread.

It would be wreck less and frankly, irresponsible for us to not warn others of this.

Have a basic training split but think and learn to feel when you get to the gym. Just because it's leg day doesn't mean you should still train legs even though you are hobbling around still. People become so set in their routines they forget that it's just a template....if this thread isn't serious than forget it.
