I know its a smith machine, but not bad for a fat old guy.
-
you and your dad ???
-
YOu're a strong old cuss.
What type of HRT are you on?
-
way to destroy your shouder joints.
Drop the ego and you might be able to train a few more years, you are one rep away from the armchair for life.
-
Correct, it is a Smith Machine. Therefore, the bar is 30lbs lighter. That is 285.
-
Joints are fine. Can bench sets of ten with 315
No problem. No trt yet.

That fat retard spotting you used to post on bodybuilding.com and was the unintentional cause of much hilarity. He was like the original Jason Genova. I wondered what happened to him, looks like he never got the whole "cutting" thing down
Also why ego training at nearly 60?

It shows mate.

Bad for the joints at that age but still impressive.

That's a high incline bench setting he's using, so not a true shoulder/overhead press. His back is supported by the bench , which allows a better foundation for pressing, and more help from the pec/chest .. But impressive anyway, for a man of his age.
To be a true shoulder/overhead press he should be either sitting or standing, free from any supports. And the bar should be directly pressed overhead. That 315 would probably be a 220-230 if a true overhead press.

.........more like 185 on his best day, maybe.

Agree.....thats an incline bench on a smith.
Walk into a squat rack and pick up 315 and do a behind the neck press.

I lost the youtube channel but there are vids of this 50 something year old Irish guy putting up 5 plates on the bench. Guy looks like he spends more time at the pub than the gym but he has that crazy strength.
