so on shark bites, im getting confused about that white plastic thing. i read some places you dont need the plastic sleeve on copper pipes others say you do
(i cut out a section of copper and am coupling a pex pipe to a copper pipe with a shark bite coupling)
now on pex they always say use the plastic sleeve on pex do you pull out the plastic sleeve first then put it on the pex pipe then insert pipe to proper depth on the fitting/coupling?
this is fucking frustrating i cant get exact details i get mixed details on this pussy ass work plumbing is fucking bitch work that takes no effort cant even get proper instructions

You need to get your internal energy centred first and then ask the Universe for guidance and soon after everything will fall into place. Hope this helps. ;D

what are doing putting copper pipes? Especially with the extreme cold we've had this winter?
-
You're on ur own bro.
-
Pex pipe? What are you plumbing , what size pipe and some pics would help. I can plumb but I have no idea what your talking about.
-
i was actually using tectite fittings not a sharkbite fittings (they look very similar) , i had a pin hold leak in the copper pipe coming out of the water heater, its 3/4 inch diameter copper. so i cut that section out then i added more pex pipe 3/4 inch to be joined to the copper done by a tectite fitting
its called a female sweat adapter (sweat indicating soldering, but this is a solder free adapter because its not always save to use the torch to sweat solder a pipe)
you get absolute shit directions on the tectite fitting though
-
Use a *Swagelok 3/4" to 3/4" union

I have pex behind my walls and copper in the basement. I put copper in the basement purely for ascetic reason. Pex flexes and many people prefer the look of copper.

You're right. This is another reason I have copper only copper in the basement. The temp in the basement stays fairly consistent. I've been updating the plumbing in the house for a couple of years. By the way, shark couplings are really cool and work well with pex.

Do they produce conducive frequencies?

Do they produce conducive frequencies?
They work synergistically to produce deep and soothing celestial harmonics on a subatomic level. It's very complicated, quantum mechanics and all that.
-
copper shouldn,t freeze if you have heat in your house

I'm one of the guys whom I have mentioned above so I can't be of further help.

A man in the know. Looks like spaghetti, i.e. shit, once water is flowing through it. Only way to run it in the basement is to drill the floor joists. Back to the thread topic, shark it's fitting are shit. Amateur hour
