What a cünt, I hope he falls off his snowmobile one day and gets paralyzed.
Some people just like killing things for the sake of killing. There are peaceful ways to handle things like that, he didn't need to spook or kill that moose.
RIP Bullwinkle.
-
It's also how Americans deal with bullying in school and annoying managers at work.
-
Peaceful way to handle a 1000lbs animal that already attacked you once?

I think he was dead fucking right. Moose went to attack twice could do serious damage if knocked you down, take no chances fuck him

He spooked it by riding up so close to it, he antagonized it into attacking. I'm sure he could've got it moving in the first place without having to kill it.
-
an inspiration to all mass shooters in the USA ;)
-
The first was a warning shot above the animal. Maybe the 2nd as well. That animal wasn't going to stop and would have charged even harder the 2nd time.
I spend a lot of time in the woods. People always think I'll get into trouble with a bear. I'm not worried about them, its the moose. Those fuckers are nuts.

Zim Zam VS Trayvon

They have a name--They're called men

most justified killing in a long time.
I probably would have shot in the first time he was charging. he could have died in that first attack, had the beast gone for it...

And so, some foxes, crows, magpies, coyotes, wolves, wolverines, weasels, black or grizzly bears all got a meal that day and for many days to come.
All because one Moose decided to block a man's path and decided to charge.
-
Hahaha yes, he should have shot it once in the 5 inch wide knee while it was running at 20mph from 20ft away with a pistol, failing that he should have let the moose trample him, because after all 'he's in the mooses territory' don't worry about the guys poor family waitng for him to return home and bring food to the table.
-
If I were there I would've shot the "MAN" point blank in the head!! *srs*
Just leave the moose alone, there's enough territory for that moose, but he still wants to engage! Moose doesn't understand just trying to survive but this fat lazy c'unt in an motor-vehicle with an gun feels Alpha!! Clearly acts like typical PIG-COP!!
I live in Scandinavia and I have seen moose when I used to jog. My teacher learned us when moose attacks you just stand behind a tree!! Which I did, when a female moose attacked me and my friend, it was easy simple and effective. BUT this UGLY C'UNT harassed the moose!! I hope some mexican druggie beheads him slowly with a bad knife!!

Did you see how thick that snow was? How was he supposed to run behind a tree with that beast running after him?

From the get-go he started to harass the moose by screaming and trying to scare it off! he could have just waited 5-10min the moose would have run off eventually! Horribly handled IMO!!

x2 The average animal nut hugging idiot is so detached from reality and what wild animals are capable of. A moose will fuck you up.

Haha, man you are a good troll...he "harassed" the moose.
And if he waited 5-10 min, the moose would have run off eventually? How do you know? And how long is eventually? What if the moose decided to charge because he saw that another entity was being still and not backing away? That is a sign of aggression to another animal.

Are moose good to eat? Seems like there's a fair bit of meat on a moose.

I like chocolate mousse, not sure what part makes it so creammy though, maybe its the blubber.

Didn`t watch.............can`t stand cruelty to animals. :(

Every territory is Human territory now that we have guns :D
It was the Moosejay's fault. He shouldn't have loitered around that community like that.
As soon as he started to attack, The gunman had to "stand his ground" due to the threat.
-
White Menace to Wildlife as bad as the Asians and their Voodoo Remedies. >:(
-
In all honesty, dude could have pulled back and let the moose pass.
Maybe he had to hurry to the cabin to get a protein shake to avoid becoming catabolic?

Yeah, it falls under venison. Really tender gamey meat. You don't see it much even on the wild game lists, because moose don't farm well like elk, reindeer, and the like. They don't like it, and get sickly quick.

Moose is excellent meat.
-
Almost as bad as a Johnny Falcon clip

Moose is very good, i eat it at least once a week.
Better than deer for sure.

He did what he had to. Plus in the news story his 12yr old son was on the ski right behind him. Can't risk getting taken out then having the animal go after your kid. Only thing I would have done different was once I knew my son was safe, go back and put on in the head so the animal doesn't lay there dying / suffering for however long it takes to bleed out.
I actually surprise a black bear once coming around a trail we were hiking. Even though I had my pistol and he was only 40ft away, I grab a stick raised my hands (like dude in the last video did) and started screaming like a cave man as my kid threw rocks at it. It worked, that bear ran so fucking fast away from us you could hear it breaking branches and shit for 100yrs. It could have EASILY taken us out if I didn't have a gun, but lucky he / she wasn't trying to fight.

if only moose could carry firearms to protect themselves and their families, hunting would require a more delicate approach
-
Haha true. I carry my glock 9mm with +P ammo when in the woods and though I have 16 shots and am certified expert pistol (USMC) I always hesitate to engage a large animal like a moose or bear. I've heard of these creature taking a shit ton of shots and still killing the human.
Was thinking about going .44 or 357 for woods assuming I can carry my lever action 3030 or mini Ranch .223 (state / federal parks don't allow)...thoughts?

More knockdown power = better 8)
Something reassuring to me though about having 15 shots in the mag.
I like my .40 8)
-
yeah but I figured something with so much mass and thick skeleton structure you'd be better suited with faster (penetration) vs. Knockdown. Maybe that's why .44 would be ideal since its both but...you'd only get 6 shots.
I'm leaning towards .357 mag

A real man would've thrown hands.

If Moose/elk could carry firearms, we would not be hunting them, period.
We would let them build their civilization in peace, and then send all our immigrants to them.
