no offense but that's some of the gayest footage i've ever seen, those "deadlifts" were like the last two inches of the pull and he didn't even press the weight one time on the Hammer strength, totally unimpressed.

not really huge, he's got good shape and some cuts but he's not big or thick at all and his half ass training shows why.

Isn't he still in the Air Force? I guess they completely turn a blind eye to roid use. I know they would have to test him specifically for the stuff (which the military very seldom does). Plus, he's probably the golden boy wherever he works at anyway.

LOL... I remember David Henry coming on getbig, going off on me about 15 months ago for accusing him of steroid use while in the military. He threatened to sue me for slander.
Seems he's been pretty quiet about the subject lately, eh?

Henry has a very pleasing physique in my opinion. I see him as being a good 7-10 placing easy every year at the Olympia in the future.
His ROM is pretty shitty. I also dont like his training routine, the DOGG Crap or whatever, and he doesnt do deadlifts at all he claims from an article in Muscular Developement. His pulling power though, such as Lat Pulldown is pretty insane I've heard. He says he can push out 40 bodyweight pullups pretty easily, the military must like that aspect. Does the Navy's physical test even count pullups though, I think that might be a Marine thing. Gotta get some military people in here for that one.

He barely moves the weight on bench and deadlifts and rack chins are for girls. They are simply chins without the weight of your legs. Looks like Doggcrapp training = using weight too heavy for yourself by cheating.

Short guys are always funny. And Dave Henry was IMO one of the top three BB's at 2005 Olympia. Very complete little guy.

I'm also in the Air Force and happy what David has done for himself. I'll say this I wouldn't go pro being in the military with all the attention I would attract. I think it's begging to a poster boy and to make the cover of the Air Force times. All it takes is a hater or OSI to get an "anonymous tip". But then again as long as you have persriptions its all good:)
My brother is also in the Air Force stationed with him down in Davis Monthan AFB in Arizona and said he's not very approachable.
He has a very complete physique.

The last year of my deployment for Operation Enduring Freedom with the Army we were assigned to guard DM-AFB in Tucson.
I never heard anything about David Henry, nor did I ever see him in the base gym. Based on what I saw being around the AF, I would think it'd be easy to be on AAS and avoid detection. They only test if they have suspicion and a reason to. The AF is all about politics and Henry is probably seen as a poster boy for them. I can understand why he's unapproachable, due to OSI, he can't afford to get close to people. That's how the military is, you have to really watch out for yourself.

his physique is good but his rom is terrible, that is poor when pros do that, alot of young people want bodies like the pros and emmulate their style of lifting and they dont get results

You have to give him his prop's ,only 3 year's ago he was a small middleweight at national's,turned pro and has steadily made solid gain's to position himself as a good second tier bber.conditioning is first rate has good overall build.

yeah but he is a pro so this is the game so comparing him others in his feild i say he looks great. too bad he's a short competitor though, he will never get great placings. he is very shawn ray to be honest, body wise. he has a better back and shawn has a better chest are the biggest differences. when i watched the video yesterday i was going to ask if everyone does deads like that, meh i guess not.
someone said 21 inch arms ::) shawn ray said at a body weight 215 and about the same height he 18 inch arms roughly, so i would suspect he has some where between 17-18 inch arms come contest day.
