Title: Ralph Moeller - Best Bodybuilder ever?
Post by: closeline on March 08, 2014, 09:45:05 AM
looking back in history and comparing to the freaks of later years he was sooooooooo good

abs, arms, back were great on their own, but with  a 6'6 300lbs body he is simply unparalled
Just Arnold may have been better
No surprise that Ralph was next to Mr Bodybuilding Anrold himself and to some extend Loui Ferrigno the only "star" outside the bodybuilding universe

Sadly , after his mr Universe title, that he never competed seriously among the pros

Many consider him the best bodybuilder ever.  It's just that nobody talks or writes about it.

Like ever.

"Soooooooooo good"? His bodybuilder record might suggest otherwise. Compared with the guys of his era, he often got smoked especially by guys half his size.

Fame outside of bodybuilding doesn't equate to being a great bodybuilder. Otherwise, Terry Crews would be even better than Rolf Moeller. He's had way more mainstream success in movies and TV.

I had no idea Ted Knight was into bodybuilding.  Arnold later said that Ted's proximity was "too close for comfort."

Franco looks like a hobbit in contrast  :D

Ralph did good for his height. Hard to fill that height out and look impressive and not lanky and akward

Ralf was great in Gladiator, a short tit like Franco "Columbu" could not have played this role.

Not the best on stage but given his height and stature, I'd much rather look like him than almost any pro BB in history.

Relative to his height he was fantastic - great proportions and that "we can do it" attitude was ace. Epic Role Model immigrant.

x100. Ralf played the perfect role of a gladiator. That cements his legacy all by itself.

It's hilarious listening to this and the commentator going "he isn't very symetrical..."

Man how times have changed. These dudes have such ridiculously small waists.
