Title: Robbie Lawler???

I don't follow the UFC as closely as I once did, but I still watch a lot of the cards and I'm pretty stunned Robbie Lawler gets chosen to fight for the vacant welterweight title.  Hendricks is an obvious choice, but Lawler?  Not sure I get that one.

He's earned his shot.  He fought the top contenders and won including Rory MacDonald who has been UFC's poster child for the post GSP era.

Plus his style is fan friendly.  There should be no qualms with him getting his chance at the belt.

He recenlyt came back into the ufc after a long hiatius and has looked like an Absolute Destroyer in his new weightclass and is coming off some impressive recent wins. So it kind of makes sense.
