This was prior to him getting a WWF contact when he was in training. He had already developed "The Rock" persona but when he got onto the WWF, they made him do that 3rd Generation wrestler shit which didn't go over very well his first year.

I remember those guys when I was a kid. Farooq and Ahmed Johnson were part of the group as well.
Used to play WWF Warzone on the PS1 too. Good times.
