Title: Can a UFC fighter/Pro Boxer take basic caffeine prior their bout?

I know that they get tested pre & post fight for cocaine, PED's, amphetamines, ect...

But is caffeine allowed?

Yeh and some NOX drinks. Im gonna sink a couple of scoops of Jack3d before my cage fight.

up to 400 mg is not considered doping in cycling... who knows

It ll be my first one, just a sort of amateur thing so no pay.

Caffeine is allowed, but discouraged by the various athletic commissions. Usually most just go by the WADA lists - http://www.wada-ama.org/Documents/World_Anti-Doping_Program/WADP-Prohibited-list/2013/WADA-Prohibited-List-2013-EN.pdf .
