PS. It won't let me post via the youtube button. I duno why...

The ruling elites are making great efforts to feminise the male population, so they can't have people going around taking androgenic drugs.

He doesn't expend a word on the side-effects of steroids on testosterone production, the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis, hair loss (not a small deal for a lot of young guys who haven't considered it), BP increase, negative effects on immune function and HDL levels, kidney function, LIVER toxicity, etc. If any moron could just go buy equipoise or anadrol at the pharmacy, you bet a lot of them would misuse it and they'd have permanent health effects as a consequence. Not to mention they could get in the hands of children...
A guy who injects alcohol-based posing oils into his arms in his mid-40s because he can't stand not being "big" is...probably not the most credible person to talk about this subject. I'm for the lessening of penalties for steroid sales and the elimination of criminal charges for personal use. But should it be sold legally without a prescription? No way.

This idiot needs to off himself and leave humanity behind

So from 1950's - 1990 lots of dead messed up kids? I don't buy it. Or if what you said is a valid concern ... then maybe have it be legal without a script but must be over 18 to purchase or something like that.
Right now it is a felony like heroin. (war on drugs BS) And I think that was his point. Making it that illegal is silly as these are real medicines that have a purpose. Otherwise.... when can we all get script for crack? ;D

Not many people knew what steroids were back then. In Arnold's era, bodybuilding was accepted largely because of the public's ignorance and the belief those physiques were attainable naturally. When drugs became mainstream in the 1980s and use became rampant in sports, the public outcry led to lawmakers passing the 1990 act. It's like anything man, you can't go back in time seven decades and compare it to today. We live in extreme times when people would buy those pills/vials and abuse the fuck out of them. They're medication. They should remain prescription-only. Same as with morphine, oxycontin, and any other potent drug used for a specific purpose.
Decriminalizing marijuana possession (for personal use) seems to have worked for those places that have adopted it. The same should apply to steroids (but not Vicodin, Valium, Codeine, etc.).

This man speaks the truth.
In the hands of the insecure and mentally insane, they can be killers. Art Atwood, DA, Kovacs and soon the gentleman in the video.

-
uh, it is legal with a script, I have one as do thousands of other people
it's even legal for him to pay a surgeon to inject tiny plastic beads into his deformed arms.
it's not legal to get a script for 5 grams a week however

Been on the sauce for three years now, using retarded doses at times (I used to be an instant gratification kind of guy at the time). Getting bloodwork every month. AST 30, ALT 32, yGT 29, cholesterol 150, creatinine 0.89 - healthy as a horse. And that's while I'm being treated with isotretinoin, one of the supposedly harshest drugs there is - and yes, the acne was mostly caused by steroid use, but that's really the only side effect I'm getting. I also have a light case of hypertension, but I had that since I've been 16 (it's hereditary) and hasn't been aggravated by steroid use. Not losing any hair either.
Not saying it's the healthiest thing you can do or that everyone handles side effects so well, I just think that the scare is widely exaggerated. As long as you use responsibly and make sure you're healthy, I don't see the issue.
-
I don't see the issue.
I know you don't. No juicer ever does. Because what applies to them surely applies to everyone else in the general population. That is how all guys running cycles think. "I'm fine on them so there's no danger involved."
This is why they're not legal in bodybuilder-style doses via script and are very illegal on the street and pretty much any other locations. People can't be trusted with the responsibility. :)

So my bloodwork is 100% in check, my blood pressure is under control, I feel great.
Now you can feel great while your organs start failing (well, probably not, but let's assume) - but I have the regular bloodwork to make sure they're not and I know how to operate a sphygmomanometer.
Again, I'm not saying it isn't possibly costing me 5 years of my life, but I'm taking all the precautions to make sure I'm currently not dying.

Because you understand how to use them and monitor your blood work for changes in key organ values. So do most pro and amateur bodybuilders.
My post was about people who'd MISUSE them, which would encompass about 95% of the population. So, they should remain in the hands of musclemen and cancer patients like the pharmaceutical companies intended.

I concede, moving on.

Ben Johnson. That's what changed it all. Then the baseball scandal made them change the law again.
Knee jerk reaction fucktards.

"If steroids were legal, people would not be injecting crap into their bodies."
Oh the irony Rich!!!

True, I guess the "decriminalization" is what may be best. I guess kids wouldn't have a clue if the media didn't smear everything all over the news. I'm an old guy so I miss the decades ago. ;)

Caffeine isn't addictive for everyone. I've taken a cup a day at the mornings for the last 10 years but I don't drink it on weekends or days when I get up late, in vacations I drink no coffe at all.
Now steroids can easily give you gyno, if you're prone to it that's it, it will happen after a couple of months. Not to mention with the doses used they will shut down your own test production. I guess they could be extremely safe in small doses, but who the hell uses small doses, everyone goes for at least 500mg a week.
PD: even small doses can give you high BP if you're prone to it or have a shitty diet full of salt and carbs.

Piana is a drug (and oil) addict and an idiot. His entire body is a puss filled oil-boil awaiting the lance, after which he will deflate to reality.

And if he makes it to 50 it shows how safe steroids are because he hasn't been off since 17 or so. He also ups the dose or adds others drugs to his endless cycle before each convention. He always posts an "I'm 295lbs" before every convention.
Gotta give it to PMMA man though he has quite a following getting 5% tats next to their FagnorFail tats.
This shows just how far gone the human race is.

Awesome combination of bro-science and bro-politics.
Very effective bro-political rhetoric for those wishing to leave their humanity behind.

Leaving humanity behind is going to take a whole new meaning for him when he screws his kidneys, liver or heart.
